Bashir calls for the release of all detained women
Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir on Friday called for the release of women arrested as a pothole in the wake of demonstrations in the country for more than two months.
In the same context, witnesses said that the security services used yesterday live bullets in the air to disperse demonstrators in Berri district in the city of Khartoum.
Demonstrations broke out after Friday prayers in the Berri district of Khartoum, Wahi and Danobawi in the city of Omdurman, and the police dispersed them with tear gas.
In the same regard, the Central Committee of doctors observed six injuries among the demonstrators yesterday in different neighborhoods, including rubber bullets and tear gas canisters and two injuries due to beatings, and indicated the stability of all those cases.
On the other hand, Bashir called in an interview with political leaders and civil administration in eastern Sudan today to reconsider the contract signed by the government more than two months ago with the Philippine company to manage the southern port of the Red Sea State in eastern Sudan,

البشير يوجّه بإطلاق سراح النساء المعتقلات كافة
وجه الرئيس السوداني عمر البشير الجمعة بإطلاق سراح النساء المعتقلات كَآفَّة على ذمة التظاهرات التي تشهدها البلاد منذ أكثر شهرين.
فِي ذات السياق، قال شهود عيان إن الأجهزة الأمنية استخدمت أمس الرصاص الحي في الهواء لتفريق متظاهرين بحي بري في مدينة الخرطوم.
واندلعت تظاهرات بعد صلاة الجمعة بحي بري في الخرطوم وحي ودنوباوي في مدينة أم درمان، وعملت الشرطة على تفريقها بالغاز المسيل للدموع.
وفي ذات الشأن، رصدت اللجنة المركزية للأطباء ستة إصابات وسط المتظاهرين أمس بأحياء مختلفة، بينها إصابات بالرصاص المطاطي وعبوات الغاز المسيل للدموع بجانب إصابتين بسبب الضرب، وأشارت لاستقرار جميع تلك الحالات.
من ناحية أخرى، طالب البشير في لقاء مع القيادات السياسية والإدارة الأهلية بشرق السودان اليوم بإعادة النظر في العقد الذي وقعته الحكومة قبل ما يزيد على الشهرين مع شركة فلبينيه لإدارة الميناء الجنوبي بولاية البحر الأحمر شرقي السودان، بعدما أثارت سخطا وسط العاملين.
