الأمر الذي أدى إلى الآتى :
ـ النمسا أعلنت الحرب على صربيا .
ـ غضبت روسيا وأعلنت الحرب على النمسا
ـ أدى إعلان روسيا الحرب على النمسا إلى غضب ألمانيا وإعلانها الحرب على روسيا .
ـ فغضبت فرنسا على المانيا وأعلنت الحرب عليها .
ـ فذهبت ألمانيا لتحارب فرنسا ، فدخلت أراضي بلجيكا
ـ فغضبت بلجيكا وبريطانيا على ألمانيا وأعلنتا الحرب عليها
ـ فغضبت الدولة العثمانية لهجومهم على ألمانيا وأعلنت الحرب على الجميع
ـ فغضبت أميركا وإيطاليا واليونان ورومانيا والبرتغال على العثمانيين وأعلنوا جميعاً الحرب على الدولة العثمانية
.فأندلعت الحرب العالمية الأولى عام 1914.. وراح ضحيتها أكثر من 16 مليون قتيل ، وثمانية ملايين مفقود ،وعشرون مليون جريح …

لقي أكثر من تسعة ملايين مقاتل وسبعة ملايين مدني مصرعهم نتيجة الحرب،وتعتبر أيضاً عامل مساهم في عدد من جرائم الإبادة الجماعية والإنفلونزا الأسبانية عام 1918،والذي تسبب في ما بين 50 و 100 مليون حالة وفاة في جميع أنحاء العالم. تفاقم معدل الخسائر العسكرية بسبب التطور التقني والصناعي للمتحاربين، والركود التكتيكي الناجم عن حرب الخنادق القاسية.
