The victim was in King County, Wash., which includes the city of Seattle as well as suburbs. There were no other details immediately available. The announcement came as President Trump prepared to address the nation about the coronavirus threat. Trump tweeted that he’ll discuss the latest development at a rare Saturday afternoon White House news conference. “It’s a sad day in our state as we learn that a Washingtonian has died,” Washington Gov. Jay Inslee said in a statement. Mohammadi was originally arrested on January 12 after a protest near Azadi Square in Tehran. She was charged with "disturbing the public order and for participating in an illegal rally."
