آلام فارتر تأليف  يوهان غوته----  (ترجمة)  محمد حسن الزيات  هذا الكتاب لا يصف ما جال في نفس خاصة من فكر، وما ملكها من هوى، وما اثر فيها من عاطفة انما هو يصف الحياة النفسية لكلل شاب وشابة على اختلاف الازمنة والامكنة، وعلى تباين الاحوال والظروف. تلك خصلة تمتاز بها الكتب التي انشئت لتبقى ابد الدهر وقضى ان يكون الخلود لها  نصيباً. تخلد لأنها لا تصف الاشخاص التي تفنى وتزول، وانما تصف النوع الذي يبقى ويدوم. وخصلة اخرى قضت لهذا الكتاب بالبقاء والخلود، هي انه لم يقف عند تمثيل الحياة النفسية للشباب في طور من اطوارها، انما وضع الانسانية مثالاً على الفضيلة تحس كل نفس الميل اليه، وتود له بلغته او دنت منه، فهو يمثل الايثار والتضحية احسن تمثيل ويصور الولاء للاصدقاء والوفاء للأحباء اجل تصوير. كل ذلك من غير تكلف ولا تصنع، ومن غير محاولة ولا عناء.

الجريمة والعقاب - الجزء الأول تأليف  فيودور دوستوفسكي  -(ترجمة)  فارس غصوب ليس ثمة إنسان خيّر بالولادة وآخر شرير. هو المحيط يتحكم في مصائر الناس ومسارات حياتهم، وكل إنسان مشروع مفتوح على الخير والشر. هذا الكلام ينطبق على بطل رواية الكاتب الروسي "فيودور دوستويفسكي" الأكثر شهرة "الجريمة والعقاب". تقول الرواية إشكالية العلاقة بين الخير والشر، أو العلاقة بين الظروف والإنسان. تتطرق الرواية إلى  الواقع الإجتماعي في روسيا في ستينيات القرن المنصرم، وترتكز حول جريمة قتل الشاب الجامعي الموهوب "رسكولينكوف" للمربية العجوز وشقيقتها والدوافع النفسية والأخلاقية للجريمة. وفي الرواية يصور دوستويفسكي حياة الناس البسطاء أمثال البطل رسكولينكوف وأمه وأخته وعائلة مارميلادوف أحد معارف رسكولينكوف وإبنته سونيا، حياة تبدو مظلمة يشولها الفقر واليأس وسقوط الإنسان في الرذيلة بعد أن سدت أمامه كل السبل حتى لم يعد هناك "طريق آخر يذهب إليه" وهي الكلمات التي ساقها الكاتب في أول الرواية على لسان مارميلادوف في حديثه مع رسكولينكوف. ويجعل هذا الواقع من مارميلادوف فريسة للخمر

الإخوة كارامازوف - الجزء الأول تأليف  فيدور دوستويفسكي   تعتبر هذه الرواية آخر رواية للكاتب فيودور دوستويفسكي حيث قرر بعد وفاة ابنه ألكسي بنوبة صرع أن يبحث عن مخرج لمأساته فلم يكن هذا المخرج سوى عمل ضخم ينهي به حياته الأدبية - وقد توفي تاركاً نهايته مفتوحة - فقرر في ديسمبر سنة 1877 أن يتوقف عن فعل أي  شيء غير الكتابة. اهتم بجمع الملاحظات والمذكرات التي تكون مادة روايته الجديدة، يقول: في مارس سنة 1878 "لقد تصورت وسأبدأ قريباً رواية كبيرة يكون بين الشخصيات الأخرى الكثير من الأطفال "وافتتح مفكرته لهذا البحث بمعرفة إمكانية البقاء مستلقياً على الخط الحديدي بينما يمر أحد القطارات فوقك بأقصى سرعة" وهكذا وفي غضون ثلاث سنوات تخرج رواية كارامازوف للوجود، ولم يرغب دوستويفسكي إلا أن يهز كل البرك الراكدة بهذا العمل الذي يبدو بسيطاً لكنها البساطة التي تعصف بتفكيرك وتجعله يواجه بتحد واضح فكر دوستويفسكي فهو القائل متحدياً قراءه "أما أنا، فلم أفعل في حياتي سوى دفعي الى الحد الأقصى ما لم تجرؤوا أنتم أن تدفعوه إلا إلى النصف". لا يمكننا تجاهل أن الإخوة كارامازوف ليست بالر

Amazon Pulls Hezbollah Deputy Leader’s Book After Israeli Media Outcry By Tyler Durden – Zero Hedge – 05/23/2019 This week Amazon pulled a controversial book being sold through its website after Israeli media led an outcry against it, charging the US retail giant with hosting Hezbollah propaganda containing incitement to violence against Israelis written by the group’s second in command. “Hezbollah: The Story from Within” was published in 2010 by Naim Qassem, the deputy head of Hezbollah, who is a designated international terrorist by the United States. The rare “insider account” of Iran-backed Hezbollah has been translated into several languages and had reportedly long been available in English through Amazon.com. According to the Israeli national Hebrew-language daily newspaper Maariv, “a reporter found that the English edition of the book was being offered for sale on the Amazon site,” and was alarmed at “a clear instance of breaking sanctions and helping to finance terrorism”

مختارات #7: وطني السودان   الطيب صالح  رحلة في التاريخ أم في الجغرافيا، أم هي خليط من كل ذلك مضاف إليها نكهة خاصة يضيفها الكاتب على موضوعاته ويجملها أسلوبه الفني الرائع. وطني السودان مختصر لكنه غني لتاريخ بلد وشعب يمثله الرجال الطيبون، الذين أهداهم المؤلف كتابه هذا. يرسم المؤلف لوحة، أي لوحة! فالانتماء، إلى هذا الوطن البعيد  المنال كما يقول المؤلف أمر عسير "أن تنتمي إلى هذا الوطن البعيد المنال، ذلك أمر عسير. أن تكون سمعت زغاريد النساء في الأعراس، ورأيت انعكاسات الضوء على وجه النيل وقت الشروق ووقت الغروب". والكاتب يدين الظواهر السلبية في المجتمع السوداني إذ حيل بين عدد كبر من الرجال والنساء وبين خدمة وطنهم وهم في ذروة العمر. فهمناك ضباط في الجيش قتلوا، أو سجنوا، أو أحيلوا للتقاعد. واضطر عدد هائل من أساتذة الجامعات إلى الهجرة شرقاً وغرباً. والسبب في كل ذلك هو "الزعماء النجباء الأذكياء، الأغبياء الذين يتوهمون أن إرادة الله قد اختارتهم ليكتبوا الصيغة النهائية في سفر التكوين". وطني السودان يطرح هموم وطن شغف الجميع حباً به لأنهم وجدوا فيه وفي أهله ذلك الشيء النادر.
