L’Egypte abrite la CAN 2019

Fin de suspense. La CAN 2019 a été attribuée ce mardi par la CAF à l’Egypte à l’issue de la réunion du comité exécutif à Dakar au Sénégal. L’Egypte, qui a été en concurrence avec l’Afrique du Sud, a obtenu 16 voix contre une seule voix pour l’Afrique du Sud. C’est la quatrième fois que le pays des Pharaons organise la CAN après les éditions de 1974, 1986 et 2006.
Pour information, la CAN 2019 était prévue initialement au Cameroun, mais la CAF a décidé de la lui retirer en raison du retard pris dans la réalisation des infrastructures. Suite à ce retrait, l’instance de football africaine a lancé un appel à candidature pour choisir un nouveau pays. Seuls l’Egypte et l’Afrique du Sud ont déposé leur candidature et le choix a été finalement porté sur le pays de la star de Liverpool, Mohammed Salah.

نهاية التشويق. تم منح CAN 2019 من قبل CAF يوم الثلاثاء في نهاية اجتماع اللجنة التنفيذية في داكار ، السنغال. فازت مصر ، التي كانت في منافسة مع جنوب أفريقيا ، بـ 16 صوتًا لصالح صوت واحد لجنوب إفريقيا. هذه هي المرة الرابعة التي ينظم فيها بلد الفراعنة كأس إفريقيا للأمم بعد إصدارات 1974 و 1986 و 2006.

للحصول على المعلومات ، كان من المقرر في البداية إنشاء CAN 2019 في الكاميرون ، ولكن CAF قررت سحبها بسبب التأخير في تحقيق البنى التحتية. بعد هذا الانسحاب ، أطلق الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم دعوة لتقديم طلبات لاختيار بلد جديد. تقدمت مصر وجنوب أفريقيا فقط ، وتركز الاختيار في النهاية على بلد نجم ليفربول محمد صلاح.
