يستلم اليوم الجنرال أفيف كوخافي قيادة الجيش الإسرائيلي، ليكون رئيس الأركان ال22 لدولة إسرائيل. وتنتظر كوخافي الذي خلف غادي أيزنكوت الذي قاد الجيش في ال5 سنوات الأخيرة، تحديات أمنية خطيرة في الشمال والجنوب، مشابهة لتلك التي واجهت أيزنكوت، لكن بظروف سياسية داخلية مختلفة.
وقد أجمع المحللون والسياسيون الإسرائيلي على أن الجيش انتقل إلى “يد آمنة” وأن كوخافي قائد من الدرجة الأولى، يتسم بالذكاء والتعمق والإنسانية. وقد برزت مزاياه القيادية خلال توليه منصب رئيس الاستخبارات العسكرية، حيث أحدث ثورة فيها وأصبح عمليا مرشحا مفضلا لقيادة الجيش الإسرائيلي في المستقبل.
وكتب المحلل العسكري لصحيفة “يديعوت أحرونتوت”، رون بن يشاي، أن إنجازات رئيس الأركان السابق، غادي أيزنكوت، ستكون تحديات رئيس الأركان الجديد، وأبرزها أن أيزنكوت أنهى ولايته دون خوض حرب غير ضرورية في الجنوب أو الشمال، والآن المسؤولة تقع على كاهل كوخافي في مواصلة الجهود العسكرية في المنطقة دون الانجرار إلى حرب. ما ينتظر كوخافي؟
إيران وحزب الله
أفلح الجيش الإسرائيلي حتى اليوم في إحباط مخطط إيران التموضع في إيران وبناء قوة تمكنها من شن عمليات ضد إسرائيل، وكذلك أحبط محاولات نقل أسلحة دقيقة لحزب الله، لكن هذا لا يعني أن القصة انتهت. فيجب على كوخافي مواصلة هذه الجهود العسكرية دون التورط مع روسيا التي ما زالت في سوريا من جهة، وكذلك دون الانجرار إلى حرب تخلف الدمار والضحايا.
كما أن احتمال تجديد إيران لمشروعها النووي على قائمة التحديات التي تنتظر كوخافي، فبعد انهيار الاتفاق النووي بين إيران والغرب، وستقع على كتفي كوخافي مسؤولية تجهيز الجيش لمواجهة عسكرية ضد إيران في حال قرر المستوى السياسي اللجوء إلى حرب لتدمير المشروع النووي العسكري الإيراني.
حماس في غزة
أشار المحللون الإسرائيليون إلى أن معضلة حكم حماس في غزة ستشغل رئيس الأركان الجديد، فيجب على كوخافي أن يقرر بين خيارين بالنسبة لغزة، الأول هو القضاء على حكم حماس في غزة وذلك عبر دخول القطاع وتدمير البنى التحتية للحركة والبقاء في القطاع إلى تسلم فصيل آخر الحكم في القطاع.
والخيار الثاني هو “التعايش” مع حماس، وهذه يعني الحفاظ على التهدئة مع الحركة، ومواصلة الجهود الإنسانية من أجل تحسين حياة سكان القطاع. وهذا الخيار يعني أن على كوخافي بذل جهد كبير مثل سابقه أيزنكوت من أجل إقناع المستوى السياسي عدم خوض حرب في غزة في حال تدهور الوضع الأمني.
إضافة إلى ذلك، سيواصل الجيش جهوده في إحباط مخططات حماس شن عمليات في الضفة الغربية، وكذلك مواجهة العمليات التي تشنها فصائل فلسطينية أخرى أو أفراد لا تنتمي إلى فصائل، دون المساس بالحياة اليومية لسكان المنطقة.
الوضع الإسرائيلي الداخلي
أشار محللون إلى أن الحقيقة أن إسرائيل تستعد إلى انتخابات هي أيضا تحدي بالنسبة لكوخافي. فهذا يعني أن رئيس الأركان الجديد سيعمل في ظروف سياسية غير مستقرة، لا سيما أن حقيبة الأمن موجدة مع رئيس الحكومة نتنياهو، الذي يواجه تحقيقات في قضايا فساد وربما لائحة اتهام في القريب.
