Two people were killed in protests in the Sudanese capital of Khartoum and at least nine people were wounded by Sudanese security forces, according to the Sudan Central Committee of Central Doctors.

Protests have gripped Sudan since December 19, and security forces used live ammunition at times to disperse protesters. The official death toll is 24, but Amnesty International says more than 40 people have been killed

أفادت "لجنة أطباء السودان المركزية" غير الرسمية بمقتل شخصين خلال احتجاجات خرجت في العاصمة السودانية الخرطوم، وإصابة 9 أشخاص على الأقل برصاص قوات الأمن السودانية.
ووفقا للجنة الطبية، فقد تصدت السلطات السودانية للمحتجين "بعنف مفرط"، ما تسبب بمقتل طبيب وطفل وإصابات تراوحت بين الطفيفة والخطيرة.
ووفقا لوكالة "رويترز"، فقد اشتبك محتجون يرشقون الحجارة مع قوات الأمن السودانية في الخرطوم التي ردت بدورها بإطلاق قنابل الغاز المسيل للدموع.
وقال شهود إن مئات تظاهروا أيضا في القضارف وعطبرة والأبيض مما دفع قوات الشرطة لإطلاق قنابل الغاز المسيل للدموع.
وتجتاح الاحتجاجات السودان منذ 19 ديسمبر كانون الأول واستخدمت قوات الأمن الذخيرة الحية في بعض الأوقات لتفريق المتظاهرين. ويبلغ عدد القتلى الرسمي 24 شخصا لكن منظمة العفو الدولية تقول إن أكثر من 40 شخصا قُتلوا.
