Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan met Friday with an American delegation led by Senator Lindsey Graham at the presidential palace in Ankara.
The meeting took two and a half hours, away from the media.
The meeting was attended by Turkish Foreign Minister Mouloud Chaochoglu, Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalan and Head of Presidential Communications Fakhruddin Alton.
The US senator Graham, the most prominent attackers Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, following investigations into the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
Senator Lindsey Graham criticized Defense Secretary Mattiece and Foreign Minister Mike Pompeo for refusing to link the Saudi crown prince to Khashoggi's killing at the kingdom's consulate in Istanbul on Oct. 2.
Matisse repeatedly condemned the killing, calling for accountability of the officials, but insisted there was no conclusive evidence of Prince Mohammed's involvement in Khashoggi's murder.
"There is no conclusive evidence, there is a conclusive saw," Graham said, referring to the horrific details of the autopsy of Khashoggi's body with a saw.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US Senate senator Lindsey Graham has vowed to introduce a draft resolution that would confirm Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman's involvement in the killing of journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
"I went to this meeting and I'm sure," Graham, the top Republican senator from South Carolina, told reporters Tuesday after listening to CIA Director Gina Haskell's report on CIA information about Khashoggi's death. It is virtually impossible for such an operation to be carried out without the knowledge of the Crown Prince, and I left the meeting believing with high confidence that my initial assessment of the situation is correct
"Mohammed bin Salman is a destructive force. He is involved in Khashoggi's killing at the highest possible level, and his actions even before Khashoggi's killing were more than disturbing," he said. "I can not see him as a reliable partner for the United States."
"If Saudi Arabia remains in the hands of this person for a long time, it will be very difficult to work with it, because I think it is crazy and dangerous, and that is to jeopardize our relations," Graham said
Graham said he would try to work with his colleagues from both sides in Congress to issue a statement confirming Bin Salman's involvement in Khashoggi's killing and noting that since he assumed the throne, he has "spread chaos in the region and undermined bilateral relations
"I can not support arms sales to Saudi Arabia as long as this person runs affairs in the kingdom, especially as the war in Yemen is out of control," the Republican politician said
"What I want is to issue a statement about the involvement of Mohammed bin Salman, which is proven by a sufficient amount of evidence, and then impose sanctions under the Magnetsky Global Act on the officials, and I would like to inform the world that if One wants to ally with the United States and wants to integrate its economy with it, and seeks to implement joint military operations, there are certain expectations must respond to them, including not to engage in brutal killings of journalists, and if we do not send this message to the world we will make it a more dangerous place
Several sources told Western media earlier that the CIA believes the Saudi crown prince ordered Khashoggi's death on October 2 at his consulate in Istanbul, Turkey
But US President Donald Trump said in response to the reports that intelligence agents "have not found anything yet and it is too early to indict Mohammed bin Salman." He said he did not know whether the Saudi Crown Prince was lying to him when he denied Khashoggi was killed

التقى الرئيس التركي رجب طيب أردوغان، اليوم الجمعة، وفدا أمريكيا برئاسة السيناتور ليندسي غراهام، في القصر الرئاسي بالعاصمة أنقرة.
واستغرق اللقاء ساعتين ونصف الساعة، بعيدا عن وسائل الإعلام.
وحضر اللقاء من الجانب التركي وزير الخارجية مولود تشاووش أوغلو، والمتحدث باسم الرئاسة إبراهيم قالن، ورئيس دائرة الاتصال في الرئاسة فخر الدين ألطون.
ويعد السيناتور الأمريكي غراهام أبرز مهاجمي ولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان، في أعقاب التحقيقات حول جريمة قتل الصحفي جمال خاشقجي.
وانتقد السيناتور ليندسي غراهام وزير الدفاع ماتيس ووزير الخارجية مايك بومبيو، لرفضهما ربط ولي العهد السعودي بعملية قتل خاشقجي في قنصلية المملكة في اسطنبول في 2 أكتوبر الماضي.
وندد ماتيس مرارا بعملية القتل، ودعا إلى محاسبة المسؤولين، لكنه أصر على عدم وجود أي دليل قاطع يشير إلى تورط الأمير محمد بن سلمان بعملية قتل خاشقجي.
وعلق غراهام قائلا: "ليس هناك دليل قاطع، هناك منشار قاطع"، في إشارة إلى التفاصيل المروعة التي تحدثت عن تقطيع مختص في التشريح جثة خاشقجي بمنشار.

تعهد عضو مجلس الشيوخ للكونغرس الأمريكي، ليندسي غراهام، بطرح مشروع قرار يؤكد تورط ولي العهد السعودي، الأمير محمد بن سلمان، بمقتل الصحفي، جمال خاشقجي.
وقال غراهام، السيناتور الجمهوري البارز من ولاية كارولينا الجنوبية، في تصريحات صحفية أدلى بها اليوم الثلاثاء عقب الاستماع إلى تقرير مديرة وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأمريكية، جينا هاسبل، حول المعلومات المتوفرة لدى "CIA" عن مقتل خاشقجي: "ذهبت إلى هذا الاجتماع وأنا على يقين كبير بأنه من المستحيل عمليا أن تكون مثل هذه العملية منفذة دون علم ولي العهد، وغادرت الاجتماع معتقدا بثقة عالية أن تقديري الأولي للوضع صحيح".
واعتبر أن "محمد بن سلمان يمثل قوة مدمرة، وهو متورط في قتل خاشقجي بأعلى مستوى ممكن، وتصرفاته حتى قبل قتل خاشقجي كانت أكثر من مزعجة"، وأضاف: "لا يمكن أن أراه شريكا موثوقا به بالنسبة إلى الولايات المتحدة".
لكن غراهام لفت مع ذلك إلى أن "السعودية ومحمد بن سلمان كيانان مختلفان"، وبين: "إذا بقيت المملكة بأيدي هذا الشخص لمدة طويلة سيكون من الصعب جدا العمل معها، لأنني أعتقد أنه مجنون وخطير، وهو عرض علاقاتنا للخطر".
وأشار غراهام إلى أنه سيحاول العمل مع زملائه من كلا الطرفين في الكونغرس لإصدار بيان يؤكد تورط بن سلمان في قتل خاشقجي، ويشير إلى أنه قام، منذ توليه ولاية العهد، "بنشر الفوضى في المنطقة، وتقويض العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين".
وأكد السياسي الجمهوري: "لا يمكنني دعم مبيعات الأسلحة للسعودية طالما يدير هذا الشخص الشؤون في المملكة، لا سيما أن الحرب في اليمن تخرج عن السيطرة".
وتابع غراهام، ردا على سؤال توضيحي حول الإجراءات التي ينوي اتخاذها: "ما أريده هو إصدار بيان حول تورط محمد بن سلمان والذي تثبته كمية أكثر من كافية للأدلة، وبعد ذلك فرض العقوبات في إطار قانون ماغنيتسكي العالمي على المسؤولين، وأود أن أبلغ العالم بأنه إذا رغب أحد بالتحالف مع الولايات المتحدة ويريد دمج اقتصاده معها، ويسعى لتنفيذ عمليات عسكرية مشتركة، فهناك توقعات معينة يجب أن يستجيب لها، ومنها عدم التورط في عمليات القتل الوحشية للصحفيين، وإذا لم نوجه هذه الرسالة للعالم سنجعله مكانا أكثر خطرا".
وذكرت مصادر عدة لوسائل إعلام غربية في وقت سابق أن وكالة الاستخبارات المركزية الأمريكية تعتقد أن ولي العهد السعودي هو من أمر بقتل خاشقجي يوم 2 أكتوبر في قنصلية بلاده باسطنبول التركية.
لكن الرئيس الأمريكي، دونالد ترامب، قال، تعليقا على هذه التقارير، إن عناصر وكالة الاستخبارات "لم يخلصوا إلى أي شيء بعد ومن السابق لأوانه توجيه اتهام لمحمد بن سلمان"، فيما ذكر أنه لا يعرف ما إذا كان ولي العهد السعودي يكذب عليه عندما نفى مسؤوليته عن مقتل خاشقجي.
