Britain may request Prescott
British Foreign Secretary Jeremy Hunt said on Thursday that the United Kingdom could be delayed from the European Union beyond the March 29 date if a secession agreement was delayed.
"It is true that if we finally reach an agreement in the days leading up to March 29, we may need more time to pass the necessary legislation," Hunt told BBC Radio 4
"But if we can make progress earlier, it may not be necessary," he said. "We can not know at the current stage which of these two scenarios might be achieved
The other 27 EU countries should approve any request for deferral.
As BRICCET approaches, the prime minister is considering the possibility of canceling the expected parliamentary holiday in February for a week or extending parliamentary hearings
