Army personnel stationed in the main streets, around the University of Juba and the tomb of the leader succeeded in intimidating the street heavy arming. The peaceful demonstration was not announced yesterday.
I passed a Facebook page with pictures of what it assumed was a demonstration yesterday in various parts of Juba, fabricated images and certainly somewhere outside Juba, or at least not yesterday. The confirmed demonstration was held in front of the South Sudan Embassy in Khartoum, Sudan.
The positive side of this movement is the transfer of dialogue and the Chaks from an ethnic background as we used to, to align in two teams, with the overthrow of the regime and another team with continuity and this is a positive and somewhat civilized approach. Except for anomalies here and there.
As individuals who are calling for an exit, we have failed to market the idea. Most of us have fallen victim to Hitler, sometimes directing an ethnic speech or reacting violently to rejectionists, regardless of the publications in question.
First, we need to persuade the rejectionists to come out. The peaceful revolution is a sophisticated behavior and a qualitative shift in the political change that has long been done with violence in our common history with Sudan and after independence. We urgently need to promote the principle of peace, and to reassure the simple - not necessarily uneducated - that the revolution is not aimed at any ethnicity, or else it will not win the support of a few young people of different ethnicities.
There is an argument from those who refuse to come out that some of the supporters, members of the organizations carrying arms, are a good argument if they are already active so far in these movements. But the door of repentance for violent change remains open, and no one has the right to exclude those who want to join the peaceful revolution. Literally, the current government exists as a result of armed violence within the framework of one Sudan and beyond, and has been supported and supported by some so far.
The failed demonstration yesterday will mark the beginning of the accumulation of a revolutionary and peaceful understanding that our keenness to dialogue with the rejectionists and convince them on the pretext. Some will support the system, find logical and emotional arguments to justify their support, and some will openly express their support for the regime from purely ethnic or pragmatist standpoint. This behavior should not lead, the advocates of the revolution to slide towards verbal violence. Secularism is also an act and a statement, and it takes time and patience to preach it on a respectable scale.
The existing system is weak and fragile and derives its strength from the ethnic and pragmatic alignment of the absent masses and some beneficiaries of the status quo. Dialogue is important on social media and on the social level as a direct condition to expand the area of ​​advocates for exit and win the support of young people.

لم تخرج المظاهرة السلمية المعلنة الخميس في جوبا

أفراد الجيش المرتكزين في الشوارع الرئيسة، حول جامعة جوبا ومقبرة الزعيم نجحوا في تخويف الشارع بالتسليح الثقيل. ولم تخرج التظاهرة السلمية المعلنة يوم أمس.
مررت على صفحة بالفايسبوك بها صور لما تفترض إنها تظاهرة أمس في أنحاء متفرقة من جوبا، صور مفبركة وبالتأكيد في مكان خارج جوبا، او على الأقل لم يكن يوم أمس. التظاهرة المؤكدة كانت أمام سفارة جنوب السودان بالخرطوم - السودان.
الجانب الإيجابي من هذا الحراك، هو إنتقال الحوار والتشاكس من أرضية إثنية كما تعودنا، إلى إصطفاف في فريقين، مع الإطاحة بالنظام وفريق آخر مع الإستمرار وهذا منحى إيجابي و متمدن لحد ما. بإستثناء حالات شاذة هنا وهناك.
كأفراد داعين للخروج، فشلنا في تسويق الفكرة، و وقع معظمنا ضحايا للهتر، وأحياناً توجيه خطاب إثني او الرد بعنف على الرافضين بغض النظر عن المنشورات موضع الرد.
نحتاج أولاً لإقناع الرافضين للخروج إن الثورة السلمية سلوك متطور ونقلة نوعية في التغيير السياسي الذي طالما تم بالعنف في تاريخنا المشترك مع السودان، وبعد الإستقلال. نحن بحاجة ماسة إلى الترويج لمبدأ السلمية، وتطمين البسطاء - ليسوا بالضرورة غير متعلمين - إن الثورة لا تستهدف أي إثنية، وإلا لما كسب تأييد قلة من الشباب من مختلف الاثنيات.
هنالك حجة من الرافضين للخروج ان بعض من المؤيدين، أعضاء تنظيمات حاملة السلاح وهي حجة وجيهة إن كانوا بالفعل ناشطين حتى الان في هذه الحركات. لكن يظل باب التوبة عن التغيير العنيف مفتوح وليس من حق أي فرد إقصاء من يريد الإنضمام لركب الثورة السلمية . حرفياً، الحكومة الحالية موجود نتيجة لعنف مسلح في إطار السودان الواحد و بعده أيضاً و يلقى التأييد والمساندة من البعض حتى الآن.
التظاهرة الفاشلة يوم أمس، ستشكل بداية لتراكم فهم ثوري سلمي ان حرصنا على الحوار مع الرافضين وإقناعهم بالحجة. سيتمترس البعض في دعم النظام، و سيجدون الحجج المنطقية و العاطفية لتبرير دعمهم، وسيجاهر البعض صراحةً بدعمهم للنظام من منطلق إثني بحت، او براغماتي بإمتياز. لا يجب ان يقود هذا السلوك، الداعين للثورة للإنزلاق نحو العنف اللفظي. فالسلمية فعل و قول أيضاً، و تتطلب وقت و طول بال للتبشير بها على نطاق محترم.
النظام الموجود الآن ضعيف وهش و يستمد قوته من الاصطفاف الإثني و البراغماتي للجماهير المغيبة، وبعض المستفيدون من الوضع القائم. الحوار مهم على السوشيال ميديا وعلى المستوى الإجتماعي المباشر كشرط لتوسيع رقعة الداعين للخروج وكسب تأييد الشباب.
