Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi said during his meeting with the head of the transitional military council in Sudan, Lieutenant-General Abdul-Fattah al-Barhan Saturday, that the solution in Sudan will be made by the Sudanese themselves through a comprehensive dialogue.Al-Barhan arrived earlier in Cairo on his first visit abroad since taking office.The visit comes days before a general strike called by leaders of the protest movement in Sudan on Tuesday and Wednesday to demand the military council to hand over power to civilians.Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi held a consultative summit on the situation in Sudan in the presence of some African countries on 23 April.Cairo considers Sudan to be the strategic depth of Egypt in the south and therefore what is happening in this country through which the Nile passes is of utmost importance to the Egyptian authorities."We, as neighboring countries of Sudan and the IGAD countries and regional partners, look forward to helping and supporting the Sudanese people and achieving the stability and prosperity they are looking for and deserve," Sisi said at the summit.The vice-president of the Transitional Military Council, Lieutenant General Mohammad Hamdan Daglo, known as Hamidati, visited Saudi Arabia on Thursday, during which he met Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

البرهان يجري محادثات في القاهرة
قال الرئيس المصري عبدالفتاح السيسي خلال استقباله رئيس المجلس العسكري الانتقالي في السودان الفريق أول عبد الفتاح البرهان السبت، إن الحل في السودان سيكون من صنع السودانيين أنفسهم عبر حوار شامل.
ووصل البرهان في وقت سابق إلى القاهرة في أول زيارة له خارج بلاده منذ توليه منصبه.
وتأتي الزيارة قبل أيام من إضراب عام دعا إليه قادة حركة الاحتجاج في السودان الثلاثاء والأربعاء لمطالبة المجلس العسكري بتسليم السلطة للمدنيين.
وكان الرئيس المصري عبد الفتاح السيسي قد عقد قمة تشاورية حول الأوضاع في السودان في حضور بعض الدول الإفريقية في 23 نيسان/أبريل.
وتعتبر القاهرة أن السودان هو العمق الاستراتيجي لمصر جنوبا وبالتالي فإن ما يجري في هذا البلد الذي يمر عبره نهر النيل، يتخذ أهمية قصوى بالنسبة للسلطات المصرية.
وقال السيسي خلال تلك القمة "نحن كدول جوار للسودان ودول تجمع إيغاد وكشركاء إقليميين، نتطلع لتقديم العون والمؤازرة للشعب السوداني، وصولا إلى تحقيق الاستقرار والرخاء الذي يتطلع إليه ويستحقه".
وكان نائب رئيس المجلس العسكري الانتقالي الفريق أول محمد حمدان دقلو المعروف بـ"حميدتي" قد قام الخميس بزيارة للسعودية التقى خلالها ولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان.
