Religious freedom: A basic right -poster

Religious freedom is a fundamental right in the United States. The nation’s founders insisted on free religious choice.
The U.S. Constitution protects religious freedom. The First Amendment of the Constitution says that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof … .”
Today, all major world religions are present in the United States and people of all faiths practice freely. Interfaith cooperation and mutual respect are valued in American society.
George Washington, the first U.S. president, said, “We have abundant reason to rejoice that in this land the light of truth and reason has triumphed over the power of bigotry and superstition, and that every person may here worship God according to the dictates of his own heart.”

الحرية الدينية: حق أساسي
الحرية الدينية حق أساسي في الولايات المتحدة. أصر مؤسسو الأمة على حرية الاختيار الديني.
يحمي الدستور الأمريكي الحرية الدينية. ينص التعديل الأول للدستور على أنه "لا يجوز للكونغرس إصدار قانون يحترم إقامة الدين ، أو يحظر الممارسة الحرة له ...".
اليوم ، جميع الديانات العالمية الكبرى موجودة في الولايات المتحدة ويمارس الناس من جميع الديانات بحرية. يُقدر التعاون بين الأديان والاحترام المتبادل في المجتمع الأمريكي.
قال جورج واشنطن ، أول رئيس للولايات المتحدة ، "لدينا سبب وفير لنفرح بأن نور الحقيقة والعقل قد انتصر في هذه الأرض على قوة التعصب والخرافات ، وأن كل شخص قد يعبد الله هنا وفقًا لما تمليه قلبه ".
