Salah al-Din was an experienced leader who defeated the Crusaders. But what he does not know much is that he behaved with humanity and compassion with the Jews who were in exile and were allowed to return to their homeland, Jerusalem. The Jewish rabbi Ben Maimon served as the private doctor of the son of Saladin in Egypt.
