Yasser Arman and Khamis Jalab meet in the Military Council

The SPLM delegation meets with the Military Council: Achieving a just peace and ending wars are the most important issues of the Sudanese revolution
Khartoum and the Republican Palace met with the delegation of the Popular Movement headed by Yasser Arman and his deputy Ismael Jalab and the official spokesman Mubarak Ardual, Mohammed Abdullah Ibrahim and Yousuf Yassin Jaber members of the delegation to the Political Committee of the Military Council headed by the group Shams al-Din Kabbashi and Lieutenant General Yasser al-Atta and Major General Dallah Hamed and Major General Osama al-Awad. And addressed the current political situation and issues of just peace and ending wars forever, and put forward the delegation of the movement:
First: The most important issues of the Sudanese revolution is the issue of freedom, peace and justice.
Second: Addressing the root causes of the conflict that led to the war and the establishment of a new system based on democracy and citizenship without discrimination are the most important issues of the revolution, which should not be lost or fallen as lost important historical opportunities in 1956, 1964 and 1985.
Third: The issues of millions of displaced persons and refugees, the opening of humanitarian relief routes and the release of prisoners are necessary measures to build confidence and create a climate for reaching a comprehensive negotiated peace agreement with the armed struggle forces with broad national participation and external guarantees.
Fourth: The necessity of completing the agreement between the military council and the forces of freedom and change as soon as possible and the establishment of a civilian government with effective powers. This issue is left to be resolved for the forces of freedom and change and the military council.
Fifth, comprehensive representation of the margin forces, women and youth is a guarantee of the success of the transitional period.
Sixth: The consensus between the two sides that the issue of war and the achievement of peace is one of the most important issues of transitional arrangements and must use the climate of revolution and change to achieve peace.
Seventh: The meetings of the Military Council will include all the forces of the Revolutionary Front and those outside it from the organizations led by comrades Abdul Aziz al-Helou and Abdul Wahid Nur so that peace is just and comprehensive.
The Sudanese will deal with the political and security arrangements needed to end the wars and build a new regime.
The two sides stressed the importance of continuing their dialogue on issues of war and peace as an integral part of the arrangements for the transitional period.

وفد الحركة الشعبية يلتقي بالمجلس العسكري: تحقيق السلام العادل وانهاء الحروب اهم قضايا الثورة السودانية
التقى بالخرطوم وبالقصر الجمهوري وفد الحركة الشعبية برئاسة ياسر عرمان ونائبه اسماعيل جلاب والناطق الرسمي مبارك أردول ومحمد عبدالله ابراهيم ويوسف ياسين جابر اعضاء الوفد باللجنة السياسية للمجلس العسكري برئاسة الفريق شمس الدين كباشي والفريق ياسر العطا واللواء دفع الله حامد واللواء اسامة العوض، وتميز اللقاء بالشفافية والصراحة والوضوح وتناول الوضع السياسي الراهن وقضايا السلام العادل وانهاء الحروب الي الابد، وطرح وفد الحركة الآتى:
اولا : اهم قضايا الثورة السودانية هي قضية الحرية والسلام والعدالة.
ثانيا: مخاطبة جذور اسباب الصراع الذي ادى الي الحرب وتأسيس نظام جديد قائم على الديمقراطية والمواطنة بلا تمييز هي اهم قضايا الثورة التي يجب ان لا تغيب او تسقط مثلما ضاعت فرص تاريخية مهمة في 1956و 1964 و 1985م.
ثالثا: قضايا ملايين النازحين واللاجئين وفتح مسارات الاغاثة الإنسانية وإطلاق سراح الاسرى هي اجراءات لازمة لبناء الثقة و تهيئة المناخ للتوصل لاتفاق سلام شامل متفاوض عليه مع قوى الكفاح المسلح بمشاركة وطنية واسعة وضمانات خارجية .
رابعا: ضرورة استكمال الاتفاق بين المجلس العسكري وقوى الحرية والتغيير في اسرع وقت ممكن وقيام حكومة مدنية وذات صلاحيات فعلية وهذه قضية متروك حسمها لقوى الحرية والتغيير والمجلس العسكري.
خامسا: التمثيل الشامل لقوى الهامش والنساء والشباب ضمانة لنجاح الفترة الانتقالية .
سادسا: وقد توافقت الاراء بين الطرفين بان قضية الحرب وتحقيق السلام هي من اهم قضايا ترتيبات الفترة الانتقالية ويجب ان يستخدم مناخ الثورة والتغيير لتحقيق السلام.
سابعا: لقاءات المجلس العسكري ستشمل كل قوى الجبهة الثورية ومن هم خارجها من تنظيمات بقيادة الرفاق عبدالعزيز الحلو وعبدالواحد نور حتى يكون السلام عادلا وشاملا.
سيعالج السودانيون في اتفاق السلام الترتيبات السياسية والامنية اللازمة لانهاء الحروب وبناء نظام جديد.
اكد الطرفان على مواصلة الحوار بينهما في قضايا الحرب والسلام كجزء لا يتجزأ من ترتيبات الفترة الانتقالية.
