Interpretation of Cultivation Theory according to Our Society

I wrote this as a segment from Mass Media Theories course assignment for my MA evening class.
It’s just a draft written in a tight submission schedule. So I ask the reader to have mercy if I have mistakenly made any wrong statement.
Cultivation theory hypothesize that the teaching of a common roles, and common values. The theory is based on the assumption that mass media have subtle effects on audiences who unknowingly absorb the dominant symbols, images and messages of media.
My interpretation of Cultivation theory In Ethiopian context:
The young society has recently been exposed to the conspiracy theory movies like Michael Moore’s we didn’t land on the moon, David Icke’s the biggest secret and the BBC conspiracy theory documentary on Illuminati: the new world order Which led to the widely accept notion that the world is controlled by very few ill will psychopathic control freak rich people that operate how the world works just through a puppet string between their hands and the world as a whole.
This led into suspecting every gesture resembling the signs and codes mentioned in the conspiracy theories has a connection to Ethiopian popular historical figures because of some resembling signs. For example, Emperor Haile Selassie has a hand sign in the African union assembly photo and eventually, it was dignified as a testifying evidence to claim that the king and Africa, as a whole, is controlled and run according to the groups will.
Far beyond that, some Christian fanatics prepared CD trilogy narratives that tell there is an attempt against Christian church to destroy its old sacred entity.
There are also books written by strong Ethiopian nationalists preaching Ethiopia is being sold to the devil by the officials without enough rational justification. Like ‘Ethiopia besatnaeltila sir’ this would lead us to the idea of Mean world syndrome, to view the world as scary, mean, violent and dangerous place.
The books and the audio visuals are the results of what interests the mass and that was resulted after the information became the center of the young generation’s attentions through movie stores and the social Media in the internet

تفسيري لنظرية الزراعة في السياق الإثيوبي:
