The President of the Sudanese Military Council, General Abdul-Fattah Barhan, officially announced the suspension of negotiations with the forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change for three days, and the pledge of return to the talks to create the appropriate atmosphere for negotiation.
Al-Burhan said that the military council was surprised by the opposition's speech in spite of the progress achieved in the negotiations, pointing out that the hostile rhetoric against the armed forces created a kind of security chaos and infiltration of "armed elements" to the scope of the sit-in.
All of this prompted the council to take several decisions, including a 72-hour suspension of negotiations, removal of barricades, opening up of transportation and a rail line to transport supplies to the states, Burhan said.
He stressed the necessity of not escalating the media, and not to provoke the armed forces and rapid support forces, noting that these forces came from the womb of the people, and that they played an important role in the injection of blood and the success of the revolution.
The Central Sudan Committee of Doctors announced the increase in the number of casualties that occurred on Wednesday evening during the "rapid support forces attempt" to remove barricades in the vicinity of the sit-in in central Khartoum, to 14 people. The committee explained that the injuries resulted from shooting at citizens and beating them with sticks.
At least eight people were injured on Wednesday by shooting at demonstrators near the army headquarters in Khartoum, ahead of the resumption of crucial talks on the political transition, a spokesman for the protest movement said.
"Armed forces tried on Wednesday evening to remove barricades between the major Mukher Nimr and Al-Gomhouria Street," said Rashid Saeed, a spokesman for the Rally of Professionals. "There were clashes with bullets that caused at least eight injuries among the citizens."

The forces of freedom and change said on Wednesday that the Sudanese military council decided to suspend negotiations with them on arrangements for the transitional period until the removal of the barriers that were put in some of the main streets and roads in Khartoum.
They asked us to dismantle the barricades in parts of the capital, "coalition spokesman Rashid Said said. "The military junta told us that the demonstrators must dismantle the barricades and return to sit-in" outside the military compound where thousands have been camping for weeks.
For its part, the gathering of Sudanese professionals asked citizens "in the capital and adjacent areas" to show "the support of the protesters" by joining the sit-in in front of the army headquarters.
The gathering of professionals represents a pillar of the Alliance of Forces and Change, which includes the most prominent components of the protest movement.
The statement also called on the demonstrators to "exercise calm and restraint, adhere to full tolerance and avoid any confrontation" with other parties.
Witnesses confirmed the presence of several injured as a result of the shooting against demonstrators near the sit-in.
"There is shooting in the Nile Street and the vicinity of the sit-in and we see many injuries coming in," said the volunteer at a field clinic opposite the army headquarters.
The violence erupted before the start of a round of talks between the military junta holding power and representatives of the Alliance of Freedom and Change Forces, the spearhead of the protest movement that pushed President Omar al-Bashir on April 11.
This round will discuss the composition of the sovereign council, one of the institutions of the three-year transitional period set by the two parties.
Progress in the talks was preceded by violence that killed six people, including a military, on Monday.
The Coalition of Freedom and Change Forces and the US Embassy blamed the military for the violence, while the military junta claimed responsibility for "unknown elements" who wanted to divert the political track from its destination.

أفادت مصادر متطابقة لموقع الحرة بأن قوى الحرية والتغيير التي تقود الاحتجاجات في السودان بدأت في إزالة المتاريس من طرقات رئيسية بالخرطوم وتحديد مساحة جغرافية للاعتصام.
وأصدر تجمع المهنيين السودانيين إحدى المكونات الرئيسية لقوى الحرية والتغيير بيانا ناشد فيه المعتصمين الالتزام بسلمتيهم والحدود للجغرافية للاعتصام.
ومحاولة إزالة المتاريس من محيط الاعتصام كانت السبب في اندلاع اشتباكات مساء الأربعاء بين المعتصمين وقوات من الدعم السريع تسببت في إصابة 14 شخصا بينها حالات حرجة، حسب مصادر طبية بتحالف المعارضة.
وعلى وقع أحداث الأربعاء قرر المجلس العسكري تعليق التفاوض مع قوى الحرية والتغيير 72 ساعة ووضع عدة شروط لاستئنافه على رأسها ازالة المتاريس وفتح السكة حديد.

وأعلن رئيس المجلس العسكري السوداني الفريق أول عبد الفتاح البرهان، رسميا تعليق التفاوض مع قوى إعلان الحرية والتغيير لمدة ثلاثة أيام، ورهن العودة للمحادثات بتهيئة المناخ المناسب للتفاوض.
وقال البرهان إن المجلس العسكري فوجئ بخطاب تصعيدي من جانب المعارضة على الرغم من التقدم المحرز في التفاوض، مشيرا إلى أن الخطاب العدائي ضد القوات المسلحة خلق نوعا من الانفلات الأمني وتسلل "عناصر مسلحة" إلى نطاق الاعتصام.
وقال البرهان إن كل ذلك دفع المجلس إلى اتخاذ عدة قرارات منها وقف التفاوض لمدة 72 ساعة وإزالة المتاريس وفتح حركة المواصلات وخط السكك الحديدية لنقل الإمدادات إلى الولايات.
وشدد البرهان على ضرورة عدم التصعيد الإعلامي، وعدم استفزاز القوات المسلحة وقوات الدعم السريع، منوها إلى أنها هذه القوات أتت من رحم الشعب، وأنها لعبت دوراً مهماً في حقن الدماء وإنجاح الثورة.
وكانت لجنة أطباء السودان المركزية أعلنت ارتفاع عدد الإصابات التي وقعت مساء الأربعاء خلال "محاولة قوات الدعم السريع" إزالة متاريس في محيط الاعتصام وسط الخرطوم، إلى 14 شخصا. وأوضحت اللجنة أن الإصابات نجمت جراء إطلاق الرصاص على المواطنين وضربهم بالعصي.
أصيب ثمانية أشخاص على الأقل الأربعاء بإطلاق نار على متظاهرين قرب المقر العام للجيش في الخرطوم، وذلك قبيل استئناف المباحثات الحاسمة حول عملية الانتقال السياسي، وفق ما أعلن متحدث باسم الحركة الاحتجاجية.
وقال المتحدث باسم تجمع المهنيين رشيد سعيد لموقع الحرة ان "قوات مسلحة حاولت مساء الأربعاء إزالة متاريس بين كبرى المك نمر وشارع الجمهورية فوقعت صدامات تخللها إطلاق رصاص تسبب في وقوع ثماني إصابات على الأقل وسط المواطنين".

وأعلنت قوى الحرية والتغيير الأربعاء أن المجلس العسكري السوداني قرر تعليق التفاوض معهم حول ترتيبات الفترة الانتقالية إلى حين إزالة الحواجز التي تم وضعها في بعض الشوارع والطرق الرئيسية بالخرطوم.
وقال المتحدث باسم التحالف رشيد سعيد إن "المجلس العسكري أوقف المحادثات. طلبوا منا تفكيك المتاريس في أجزاء من العاصمة." وأضاف "المجلس العسكري أخبرنا أنه يجب على المتظاهرين تفكيك المتاريس والعودة إلى الاعتصام" خارج المجمع العسكري حيث يخيم الآلاف منذ أسابيع.
من جانبه، طلب تجمع المهنيين السودانيين من المواطنين "في العاصمة والمناطق المتاخمة" إظهار "مساندة المعتصمين" عبر الالتحاق بالاعتصام أمام مقرّ الجيش.
ويمثّل تجمّع المهنيين دعامة لتحالف القوى والتغيير الذي يضم أبرز مكوّنات الحركة الاحتجاجية.
كما دعا البيان المتظاهرين إلى "التحلي بالهدوء وضبط النفس والتمسك بالسلمية التامة وتفادي الدخول في أي مواجهات" مع أطراف أخرى.
وكان شهود أكدوا وجود عدة مصابين نتيجة إطلاق النار ضد المتظاهرين قرب مكان الاعتصام.
وقال المتطوع في إحدى العيادات الميدانية قبالة مقر الجيش محمد الدهب لفرانس برس "هناك إطلاق نار في شارع النيل ومحيط الاعتصام ونرى إصابات عديدة تدخل".
واندلعت أعمال العنف قبل بدء بدء جولة من مباحثات المجلس العسكري الممسك بالسلطة وممثلين لتحالف قوى الحرية والتغيير الذي يمثّل رأس حربة ضمن الحركة الاحتجاجية التي دفعت قي 11 نيسان/أبريل نحو إزاحة الجيش الرئيس عمر البشير.
وستناقش هذه الجولة تركيبة المجلس السيادي، إحدى مؤسسات الفترة الانتقالية الثلاث المحددة بثلاث سنوات من قبل الطرفين.
وسبقت التقدّم في المحادثات أعمال عنف أدت الاثنين إلى مقتل ستة أشخاص بينهم عسكري.
وحمل تحالف قوى الحرية والتغيير والسفارة الأميركية الجيش مسؤولية أعمال العنف، في حين حمّل المجلس العسكري مسؤوليتها إلى "عناصر مجهولة" تريد حرف المسار السياسي عن وجهته.
