Russia is threatening to target any country on its territory with medium-range US missiles
MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia will target any country where medium-range US missiles are installed, the chief of staff said.
"We will not leave it without a response if the medium-range nuclear weapons treaty is breached," General Gerasimon told a news conference of foreign military attachés in Moscow, referring to the medium-range nuclear weapons treaty, which bans missiles with ranges ranging from 500 to 5,500 kilometers and capable of carrying Nuclear warheads
 Gerasimov said the country, which hosts mid-range and short-term US systems, will become a target for retaliation by Russia.
 The Russian general said the withdrawal of the United States from the Soviet-era bilateral treaty signed by Washington and Moscow in 1986 was "a very serious step" that could have a negative impact on security, stability and security and strategic stability in Europe in general
 The United States announced earlier this week that it intended to withdraw from the treaty within 60 days if Russia did not prove its  commitment to it. DPI

 روسيا تهدد باستهداف اي دولة يوجد في اراضيها صواريخ امريكية متوسطة المدى
قال رئيس هيئة الاركان الروسية ان بلاده ستستهدف اي دولة يتم فيها نصب صواريخ امريكية متوسطة المدى.
وقال الجنرال جيراسيمون في مؤتمر صحفي للملحقين العسكرين الاجانب في موسكو:( لن نترك الامر دون رد في حال تم خرق معاهدة الاسلحة النووية متوسطة المدى) وذلك في اشارة الى معاهدة القوات النووية متوسطة المدى التي تحظر الصواريخ ذات مدى يتراوح بين ٥٠٠ و٥٥٠٠  كيلومتر والقادرة على حمل رؤوس نووية.
 اوضح جيراسيموف ستصبح الدولة التي تستضيف انظمة امريكية متوسطة المدى وقصيرة المدى هدفا لاجراءات انتقامية من قبل روسيا.
 وقال الجنرال الروسي ان انسحاب الولايات المتحدة من المعاهدة الثنائية التي وقعتها واشنطن وموسكو ١٩٨٦  والتي تعود الى العهد السوفيتي يعد " خطوة خطيرة للغاية" من الممكن ان تؤثر سلبا على الامن ،والاستقرارعلى الامن والاستقرار الاستراتيجي في اوربا بشكل عام.
 يذكر ان الولايات المتحدة اعلنت في وقت سابق الاسبوع الجاري انها تعتزم الانسحاب من المعاهدة في غضون ٦٠ يوما اذا لم تثبت روسيا تمسكها بها . (دي بي اي)
