Trump defends his decision to withdraw US troops from Syria
 WASHINGTON (Reuters) - US President Donald Trump defended his decision to withdraw US forces from Syria, saying the United States does not want to be "the policeman of the Middle East."
"Do you want the United States to be a Middle East policeman and get nothing but a loss of precious lives and spending trillions of dollars in protecting others who do not value what we do?" Trump said in a series of tweets on his Twitter account.
"Do we want to stay there forever? It is finally time for others to fight"
Trump also stressed that the decision to withdraw US troops from Syria "is not surprising," recalling that he promised during his campaign
"I called for withdrawal for years, and six months ago when I said publicly that I wanted to do so, I agreed to stay there longer."
"Russia, Iran, Syria, and others are the local enemies of (calling) the slogan of his campaign" Make America great again "
US President George W. Bush's announcement on Wednesday that his country's troop withdrawal from Syria was a source of concern in the United States and reactions from Washington's allies, who stressed that they would continue to face a confrontation
There are currently about 2,000 US troops in northern Syria, especially from the special forces that are involved and coordinate fighting against the organization

 واشنطن-  دافع الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، اليوم، عن قراره بسحب الولايات المتحدة لقواتها من سوريا، مؤكدا أن الولايات المتحدة لا ترغب في أن تكون "شرطي الشرق الأوسط".
وقال ترامب، في سلسلة تغريدات على حسابه بموقع التواصل الاجتماعي - تويتر-  اليوم، "هل تريد الولايات المتحدة أن تكون شرطي الشرق الأوسط وألا تحصل على شيء غير خسارة أرواح ثمينة وإنفاق تريليونات الدولارات في حماية آخرين لا يثمنون ما نقوم به؟ ".
وأضاف "هل نريد أن نبقى هناك إلى الأبد؟.. لقد حان الوقت أخيرا لكي يقاتل الآخرون".
كما أكد ترامب أن قرار سحب القوات الأمريكية من سوريا "ليس مفاجئا"، مذكرا أنه وعد بذلك خلال حملته الانتخابية.
وقال "لقد دعوت للانسحاب لسنوات، وقبل ستة أشهر عندما قلت بشكل علني إنني أرغب في فعل ذلك، وافقت على البقاء هناك لفترة أطول".
وأضاف أن "روسيا وإيران وسوريا وآخرين هم الأعداء المحليون لـ (داعش)وسم شعار حملته "اجعل أمريكا عظيمة مرة أخرى".
وأثار إعلان الرئيس الأمريكي أمس - الأربعا-  قرار سحب قوات بلاده من سوريا قلقا في الولايات المتحدة وردود فعل لدى حلفاء واشنطن الذين أكدوا استمرارهم في مواجهة (داعش).

وينتشر حاليا حوالي ألفي جندي أمريكي في شمال سوريا لا سيما من القوات الخاصة التي تشارك وتنسق القتال ضد التنظيم.
