Sudanese activists expressed their satisfaction with the ongoing protests against the ruling regime in Sudan, amid a new call for another march on Monday demanding the resignation of President Omar al-Bashir
Activist Muayad Baba told "al-Hurra" that the ongoing demonstrations against the regime "are beginning to bear fruit and will eventually yield to the demands of the protesters."
Baba reiterated his strong support for the call by the Sudanese professional community to demonstrate again next Monday on the eve of Independence Day

The United Nations has expressed concern about the situation in Sudan, and called on Secretary-General Antonio Guterich to exercise restraint, calling for "a comprehensive investigation of the dead and violence."
Sudan's protests so far have killed 19 people with government approval, while Amnesty International says the death toll is 37
السودان.. دعوة للتظاهر عشية عيد استقلال
أعرب ناشطون سودانيون عن ارتياحهم الشديد لما حققته الاحتجاجات المستمرة ضد النظام الحاكم في السودان، وسط دعوة جديدة لمسيرة أخرى يوم الاثنين المقبل تطالب بتنحي الرئيس عمر البشير.
وقال الناشط مؤيد بابا لـ"موقع الحرة" إن المظاهرات المتواصلة ضد النظام الحاكم "بدأت تؤتي أكلها وحتما سترضخ في خاتمة المطاف لمطالب المحتجين".
وأكد بابا تأييده الشديد لدعوة تجمع المهنيين السودانيين إلى التظاهر مجددا الاثنين المقبل عشية عيد الاستقلال.

ودعت "منسقية الانتفاضة السودانية" وهي جسم جديد مكون من ناشطين وعدة أحزاب معارضة، إلى مواصلة التظاهر اليومي والإقبال بكثافة على مسيرة الاثنين.
السلطات استبقت الدعوة الجديدة للتظاهر بتعزيز وجودها الأمني في الخرطوم ومناطق أخرى من السودان، حسب ناشطين.
وبث ناشطون تسجيلا مصورا قالوا إنه لحشود عسكرية للقوات السودانية وهي تتوجه إلى العاصمة تحسبا لتجدد المظاهرات ضد النظام تمت الدعوة إليها السبت. ولم يتسن التأكد من صحة التسجيل من مصدر مستقل.
وأعلنت أجهزة الأمن في الخرطوم اعتقال مجموعة ثانية مسلحة تابعة لحركة تحرير السودان جناح عبد الواحد المتمردة في إقليم دارفور.
وقال وزير الدولة بوزارة الإعلام مأمون حسن إن المعتقلين كانوا يسعون للقيام بـ"أعمال تخريب" وكذلك "تنفيذ اغتيالات لأشخاص محددين بين المتظاهرين" حسب ما نقلت مصادر محلية عن مسؤولين أمنيين.
وقال الوزير السوداني إن هذه الخلايا "لا تعمل منفردة ولديها تنسيق تام مع أحزاب" لم يسمها.
غير أن الحركة وقوى سياسية معارضة سارعت لنفي تلك الاتهامات.
وقال الناشط مؤيد بابا إن تظاهرات الاثنين المقبل ستكون تحت مسمى "دارفور بلدنا، لدعم أبناء دارفور وتكذيب ادعاءات العنصرية وسياسة فرّق تسد التي يتبعها النظام".
وتأتي دعوة تجمع المهنيين الثانية للتظاهر، بعد احتجاجات نظمها التجمع في 25 كانون الثاني/ديسمبر الجاري في الخرطوم ومناطق أخرى من البلاد، قابلها النظام بحشود أمنية ضخمة منعت المتظاهرين من التوجه إلى القصر الرئاسي لتسليم مذكرة تطالب بتنحي البشير وتشكيل حكومة تكنوقراط.
وأعربت الأمم المتحدة عن قلقها من الوضع في السودان، ودعا أمينها العام أنطونيو غوتيريش إلى ضبط النفس فيما دعا إلى "إجراء تحقيق شامل حول القتلى والعنف".

وأسفرت احتجاجات السودان حتى الآن عن مقتل 19 شخصا بإقرار الحكومة، فيما تقول منظمة العفو الدولية إن عدد القتلى 37.
