This step is accompanied by security directives issued to the Sudanese newspapers that prevent the news of the demonstrations from being supported and assisted in their expansion. These developments followed the expansion of demonstrations that began Wednesday from the city of Atbara in the state of the River Nile and extended to the cities of Dammer, Berber, Mutma and Shendi, and were followed by Dongola and Khartoum, and the cities of Port Sudan, Gedaref, Sennar and the Judean waves of anger similar to the toll of eight dead - six in Gedaref and two in Berber - and a number of injured, as confirmed by government officials
The political secretary of the National Congress Party Omar Bassan accused the left forces of fueling the demonstrations and deviating towards sabotage after it began peacefully
"The general approach of the government was to allow protests and non-exposure to demonstrators," he said in a state-of-the-country program on a Sudanese satellite on Thursday night
"But there is an agenda that tries to exploit the situation by raising slogans to overthrow the regime and trying to weaken the national reconciliation government headed by Moataz Moussa
Bassan pointed out that the organizers of the agenda, led by the left, deliberately targeted the headquarters of the National Congress to criminalize him as responsible for what the Sudanese people reached
And revealed the issuance of directives to protect state and party facilities to prevent them from being destroyed and destroyed.
Demonstrators in the cities of Atbara, Berber, Dengla and Gedaref set fire to National Congress headquarters and government buildings and threw them into ashes. Several government vehicles were also burned

لخرطوم 20 ديسمبر 2018- توقفت على نحو مفاجئ ليل الخميس وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي عن العمل في السودان ،وواجه مشتركو شركة (زين)على الأخص صعوبات بالغة في خدمات التراسل الفوري على أجهزة الهواتف المحمولة، في وقت عادت الأجهزة الأمنية الى فرض رقابة قبلية مباشرة على الصحف المطبوعة.
ورجحت مصادر متطابقة تحدثت لـ (سودان تربيون) أن تكون هيئة الاتصالات أمرت الشركات بوقف تطبيقات " فيس بوك" و "واتساب" و "تويتر" للحد من تناقل الأخبار وصور الاحتجاجات التي انتظمت أجزاء واسعة من السودان منذ يومين بسبب الغلاء وتردي الأحوال الاقتصادية.
وتترافق هذه الخطوة مع توجيهات أمنية صدرت للصحف السودانية تمنع تناول اخبار المظاهرات بنحو يدعمها ويساعد في اتساعها كما تلقت المطابع أوامرا من جهاز الأمن بعدم طباعة أي صحيفة قبل أن تخضع للمراجعة على يد أحد منسوبي الجهاز بما يعني عودة الرقابة القبلية على الصحف.
وتجئ هذه التطورات في أعقاب اتساع دائرة المظاهرات التي بدأت الأربعاء من مدينة عطبرة بولاية نهر النيل وتمددت الى مدن الدامر وبربر والمتمة وشندي، ولحقت بها دنقلا والخرطوم كما شهدت مدن بورتسودان والقضارف وسنار والنهود موجات غضب مماثلة كانت حصيلتها ثمانية قتلى-ستة في القضارف واثنين في بربر-وعدد من المصابين حسبما أكد مسؤولون حكوميون.
واتهم الأمين السياسي لحزب المؤتمر الوطني عمر باسان قوى اليسار بتأجيج المظاهرات والانحراف بها نحو التخريب بعد ان بدأت بشكل سلمي.
وقال في حديثه لبرنامج (حال البلد) على فضائية سودانية 24 مساء الخميس، إن التوجه العام للحكومة كان السماح للاحتجاجات وعدم التعرض للمتظاهرين.
وأضاف "لكن ظهرت أجندة تحاول استغلال الوضع برفع شعارات اسقاط النظام ومحاولة إضعاف حكومة الوفاق الوطني برئاسة معتز موسى".
ولفت باسان الى أن الجهات صاحبة الأجندة وعلى رأسها قوى اليسار عمدت الى استهداف مقار المؤتمر الوطني لتجريمه باعتباره المسؤول عما وصل اليه الشعب السوداني.
وكشف عن صدور توجيهات بحماية منشآت الدولة والحزب للحيلولة دون تعرضها للتخريب والدمار.
وكان متظاهرون في مدن عطبرة وبربر ودنقلا والقضارف أضرموا النيران في مقار للمؤتمر الوطني ومباني حكومية وأحالوها الى رماد، كما جرى احراق عدد من السيارات الحكومية.
