جدير بالذكر أنه تقرر في باريس إغلاق كل محطات المترو التي تؤدي إلى الشانزليزيه ومحطة ميروميسنيل المودية إلى وزارة الداخلية ومقر الرئاسة في قصر الإليزيه.
ووفق جان جاك برو المسؤول في إدارة منطقة إيفلين فإن "بضع مئات" وربما ألف من المحتجين، سيتجمعون أمام قصر فرساي في جنوب غرب باريس، الذي يزوره سنويا ملايين السياح لإسماع مطالبهم التي يرتبط معظمها بالقدرة الشرائية.

وتأتي هذه التحركات غداة مصادقة البرلمان الفرنسي على سلسلة من القوانين تنفيذا لمراسيم أصدرها الرئيس إيمانويل ماكرون، وبينها إعفاء الموظفين من الضرائب على الساعات الإضافية ودفع مكافأة استثنائية معفاة من الضرائب للموظفين الذي يتقاضون حتى 3600 يورو شهريا.
