The Yemeni Southern Transitional Council controls the presidential palace in Aden
Yemeni military sources said Saturday that the forces of the Southern Transitional Council have taken control of the presidential palace of Maasheq, the last headquarters of the government and the Yemeni army in the interim capital, Aden, southern Yemen.
 The source said that "the security belt forces, backed by units of support and support, took over the presidential palace from his garrison," after four days of fighting with the presidential protection forces in the vicinity.
He pointed out that "the handover was preceded by the withdrawal of Saudi forces were stationed in the palace, to the camp command of the coalition in the Directorate of Brega west of Aden."
A member of the Southern Transitional Council in Yemen, said recently, that the forces of the Council is close to the control of the presidential palace in the interim capital in Aden, revealing the surrender of many government agencies to control the Council.
Adnan Al Kaf, a council member, said:
All the camps in Aden have fallen, and many government and military entities have announced their accession to the Southern Transitional Council.
"We are at the gates of the [presidential palace] pavilions, and many of the troops in the pavilions have been handed over. In the coming hours we will issue a statement," the spokesman said.
Regarding the Council's contact with the Presidential Palace's protection forces, El Kef replied, "Many declare their surrender, and, God willing, we will enter the Palace of Ma'haiq peacefully without any fighting."
Regarding the next step of the Council's control of Aden, Kef said:
We assure all the masses of the South that we will act according to the historic Declaration of Aden and abide by it, and we will meet the needs of the people.

ذكر مصدر عسكري يمني ، اليوم السبت، أن قوات المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي قد تسلمت السيطرة على قصر معاشيق الرئاسي، آخر مقرات الحكومة والجيش اليمني في العاصمة المؤقتة، عدن، جنوب اليمن.
 وأفاد المصدر بأن "قوات الحزام الأمني، مدعومةً بوحدات من الدعم والإسناد، تسلمت القصر الرئاسي من حاميته"، بعد أربعة أيام من القتال مع قوات الحماية الرئاسية في محيطه.
وأشار إلى أن "عملية التسليم سبقها انسحاب قوات سعودية كانت تتمركز في القصر، إلى معسكر قيادة التحالف في مديرية البريقة غرب عدن".
وكان عضو بالمجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي باليمن، قد ذكر، قبل قليل، أن قوات المجلس صارت على مقربة من السيطرة على القصر الرئاسي بالعاصمة المؤقتة في عدن، كاشفا استسلام الكثير من الجهات الحكومية لسيطرة المجلس.
وقال عدنان الكاف، عضو المجلس: 
إن جميع المعسكرات في عدن سقطت، والكثير من الجهات الحكومية والعسكرية أعلنت انضمامها إلى المجلس الانتقالي الجنوبي.
وتابع المتحدث، "نحن على أبواب معاشيق [ القصر الرئاسي]، والكثير من القوات التي في معاشيق سلمت، وخلال الساعات القادمة سنصدر بيانا".
وعن تواصل المجلس مع قوات حماية القصر الرئاسي، أجاب الكاف، "الكثيرون يعلنون استسلامهم، وإن شاء الله سندخل قصر المعاشيق سلميا دون أي قتال".
وعن الخطوة التالية لسيطرة المجلس على عدن، قال الكاف:
نطمئن جماهير الجنوب كلها أننا سنعمل وفق إعلان عدن التاريخي ونلتزم به، وسنلبي حاجة الشعب.
