Polisario is preparing for war with Morocco
Moroccan media have reintroduced footage from media outlets affiliated with the Polisario Front, which show FMLN troops on the Atlantic coast opposite the Moroccan-controlled Karakaras.
The Moroccan newspaper Massa reported on Monday that the move comes within the framework of patrols launched by the Front for the Independence of Western Sahara between the regions of Karakarat and Al-Kouira within the buffer zone.
The newspaper warned that the "Polisario" seeks to strengthen the presence of its forces within the buffer zone in order to achieve a greater goal, namely, "restructuring for use in training."
These developments came against the backdrop of the declaration of the Polisario leader, Ibrahim Ghali, of the Front's intention to open the door to volunteering for the youth of the Tindouf camps, or to recruit them in preparation for the war with Morocco.
Ghali warned that this war has become inevitable, accusing the United Nations of failing to settle the Sahara conflict.
For its part, the Moroccan army mobilized its forces at the southern border and ordered the Inspector-General of the Royal Armed Forces General Abdel Fattah al-Warraq to redeploy units of infantry teams in southern regions and supervised air force maneuvers in the same area.

"البوليساريو" تستعد للحرب مع المغرب
أعادت وسائل إعلام مغربية نشر لقطات من مواقع إعلامية تابعة لجبهة "البوليساريو"، تظهر قوات للجبهة عند سواحل المحيط الأطلسي المقابلة لمنطقة الكركارات الخاضعة لسيطرة المغرب.
وذكرت صحيفة "المساء" المغربية اليوم الاثنين أن هذه الخطوة تأتي في إطار دوريات بدأت الجبهة المؤيدة لاستقلال الصحراء الغربية تسييرها بين منطقتي الكركارات والكويرة داخل المنطقة العازلة.
وحذرت الصحيفة من أن "البوليساريو" تسعى إلى تعزيز تواجد قواتها داخل المنطقة العازلة بغية تحقيق هدف أكبر، أي "إعادة تشكيلها لاستخدامها في التدريب".
وتأتي هذه التطورات على خلفية إعلان زعيم "البوليساريو" إبراهيم غالي عن توجه الجبهة إلى فتح باب التطوع لشبان مخيمات "تندوف"، أو تجنيدهم إجباريا، استعدادا للحرب مع المغرب.
وحذر غالي من أن هذه الحرب باتت أمرا لا مفر منه، متهما الأمم المتحدة بالفشل في تسوية نزاع الصحراء.
من جانبه، استنفر الجيش المغربي قواته عند الحدود الجنوبية وأمر المفتش العام للقوات المسلحة الملكية الجنرال عبدالفتاح الوراق بإعادة انتشار وحدات من فرق المشاة في مناطق جنوبية، كما أشرف على مناورات لسلاح الجو بالمنطقة نفسها.
