MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian and American presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will hold a brief bilateral meeting in Argentina, followed by an extended one-hour talks, the Kremlin said Thursday
In a press briefing, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov confirmed that the two presidents would meet around noon on December 1 on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Buenos Aires.
Putin said Putin would discuss with his US counterpart the Russian-American relations and the future of the dialogue between the two countries on disarmament and regional conflicts. "We do not have to agree, but dialogue is necessary, which is important for the whole world"
The spokesman said that Washington had confirmed the meeting between the two presidents, and nothing indicates the possibility of cancellation
Earlier in the day, the agency said, quoting a source in one of the delegations participating in the forthcoming summit of the Group of Twenty, that the meeting between Putin and Trump can take more than two hours
