الرئيس ترامب وحزبه الجمهوري، كانوا منزعجين من ترشح النائبة الأمريكية إلهام عمر، واستمر ذلك بعد ظهورها، وايضا على خلفية إنها صومالية مسلمة.
مبدئيا من حق النائبة إلهام أن تكشف الرئيس ترامب وموقفه من قضية جمال خاشقجي، إلا أن ذلك لن يخدم برنامجها والقضايا التي تبنتها في حملتها الانتخابية بصورة استراتيجية وذات الصلة بالمجتمع الأمريكي والمهاجرين في الولايات المتحدة، فالعمل على القضايا الرئيسية أكبر جدوى من واقعة سياسية لن يختلف الأمريكيين على ضرورة إيجاد تسوية لها ولن تتجاوز تنصيب بديل سعودي، في الجوهر لن يكون مختلفا في ماهيته السياسية عن ولي العهد السعودي محمد بن سلمان.
إذ أن التلاسن مع الرئيس ترامب لن يخدم برنامجها السياسي والخدماتي، بل سيفضي الأمر إلى واقع خلاف شخصي بينهما، وذلك لا يمثل الهدف الكبير والبعيد للنائبة والتي بدأت الكثير من الجهد لبلوغ موقعها السياسي.
في حين أن مهاجمة الرئيس يستحسن أن تتم من قبل الحزب الديمقراطي ككتلة حتى ياخذ الأمر بعد سياسي أكثر جدوى، وبحيث يشكل إعلان أمريكي، في حين أن المشهد الحالي يؤكد بأن الديمقراطيين يتخدون من نائبتهم كرأس حربة للمهاجمة وأن قضية خاشقجي لا تتعدى بالنسبة لهم عن استثمار سياسي.
وفي المحصلة سينتهي الأمر بأن المواجهة ستحصر بين رئيس أمريكي حريص على مصالح بلده أولا واخيرا، وهو ما يجمع عليه الأمريكيين عند حضور المصلحة، وبين الطرف الأخر نائبة مسلمة من أصل صومالي، وسيصور إنها انطلاقا من خلفيتها الاجتماعية ناقمة عليه وترغب في أن تسخر موقعها السياسي لخدمة قضايا لا تعني المواطن الأمريكي بصورة مباشرة.
إلى هذا الإتجاه سيدفع الأمر، وبغض النظر عن التباين والخلاف السياسي بين الحزبين الحاكمين في أمريكا، لاسيما وأن كلاهما حريص وقبلهما المواطن الأمريكي، في أن تستمر الولايات المتحدة مسيطرة على السعودية وعلى غيرها من دول مصادر الطاقة في الخليج العربي، لضمان المصالح الاقتصادية الأمريكية.
وخضوع العرب الأثرياء لدولة الأمريكية قضية لا يختلف عليها الأمريكيين ولها ضرورة استراتيجية وفق مفهومهم للمصالح، حيث أنهم متفقون على تأمين النفط والمبيعات التجارية وأن تظل تلك المصالح دوما تحث إشرافهم، وذلك لتأمين حاجتهم الاقتصادية والتجارية، عوضا عن ذلك تأمين إسرائيل.
الأمريكيين كمجتمع لن يرجحوا الانتصار لقضية جمال خاشقجي على حساب المصالح التي تربطهم مع أنصارهم في دول الخليج، لكون ازدهار اقتصادهم له صلة بالعلاقات مع هذه الدول، حيث أن المبيعات الأمريكية تتخد سوق رئيسية من تلك المنطقة، وهو ما يفرض الاهتمام بالعلاقة المشتركة معها، وليس أن تصبح عوامل ثانوية كمحور لتقييم العلاقات مع السعودية أو إعادة النظر بشأنها.
كما أن الديمقراطيين جل اهتمامهم بتلك القضية يتمحور في أن يحرموا الرئيس ترامب من احدى مصادر قوته السياسية في منطقة الخليج العربي ممثلا بالسلطات السعودية، وأن ينزعوا عن بعض أوراقه، وذلك في مقابل بقاء المصالح بين الطرفين، ولكن في مقابل ذلك أن يتم ذلك في ظل توليهم الحكم.
وقد كان الديمقراطيين عبر اداراتهم السابقة يتعاملون مع السعودية والدول ذات الطراز الشبيه لها، دون أدنى حرج تجاه سياستها ذات الصلة بدول الخليج ذات التاريخ الغير ايجابي تجاه تجاوزات حقوق الإنسان.
كما أن ذلك يشمل الشعب الأمريكي الذي يرتكز تصوره من هذا السياق، وفي المحصلة فهو يغلب مصلحته على واقع شعوب الخليج العربي وغيرها من الدول، وبالتالي هو معني بمصالحه الخاصة، والتي لن تتأثر بالموقف من الدور السعودي في مقتل كمال خاشقجي.
ويمكن التأكيد بأن قضية جمال خاشقجي ما كانت ستجد صدى عميق في ظل رئيس أمريكي أخر، لولا أن الرئيس ترامب لم يورط ذاته في صدد خلفية قضية لها صلة مباشرة مع حليفه محمد بن سلمان ولي العهد السعودي.
والمحصلة أن الضحية السعودية أصبح سلاح معنوي وسياسي أستخدمه الديمقراطيين لكي يزيحوا ويضعفوا موقف الرئيس ترامب، وبدورها فإن النائبة إلهام عمر، تنطلق من الموقف الحزبي ذاته والتماهي مع القضية بهيئة أن شكلت ذات اسلامية وبتالي الاستفادة من حشد النائبة المسلمة وذات الأصل الصومالي، لكي تتصدر الردود على الرئيس الأمريكي.
