Sudanese Minister of Irrigation Yasser Abbas announced that Ethiopia presented a proposal during a tripartite meeting between Sudan, Egypt and Ethiopia to discuss the crisis of the Ethiopian Renaissance Dam. قال وزير الري السوداني إن أثيوبيا قدمت مقترحا حول ملء سد النهضة وتخزين المياه بين 4 إلى 7 سنوات.

أعلن وزير الري السوداني ياسر عباس إن إثيوبيا قدمت اقترحا خلال اجتماع ثلاثي بين السودان ومصر وإثيوبيا لمناقشة أزمة سد النهضة الإثيوبي، موضحا أن الاقتراح ينص على ملء السد وتخزينه خلال فترة من 4 إلى 7 سنوات.
وقال عباس في مؤتمر صحفي اليوم السبت إنه "تم الاتفاق على كثير من النقاط وهناك بعض الخلافات سيتم نقاشها في اجتماعات اللجنة البعثية بين الدول الثلاث"، مضيفا "لأول مرة يتم تداول أرقام حول عدد السنوات والشهور حول كيفية ملء وتخزين سد النهضة  منذ بدء المفاوضات بين الاطراف الثلاث، وهذا يعتبر تقدم في مفاوضات الخرطوم".
وتابع الوزير السوداني "اثَيوبيا قدمت مقترحا حول ملء سد النهضة وتخزينه بين 4 إلى 7 سنوات"، لكنه لم يشر إلى موقف السودان أو مصر خلال الاجتماع من هذا المقترح.
وأفاد مكتب وزير الموارد المائية والري في السودان، ياسر عباس، أمس الجمعة، ببدء لقاءات وزراء الري والموارد الطبيعية في السودان وأثيوبيا ومصر، لبحث أسس قواعد ملء وتشغيل سد النهضة الأثيوبي، صباح اليوم بفندق السلام "روتانا" بالخرطوم.
وجاء في بيان المكتب الإعلامي للوزير السوداني أن الوزراء سيناقشون نتائج اجتماعات اللجنة الفنية الثلاثية التي اختتمت اجتماعاتها، أول من أمس الخميس، وأن الجلسة الافتتاحية المغلقة بدأت عند الساعة العاشرة صباحا (بالتوقيت المحلي للخرطوم) بحضور الوزراء الثلاث واللجان الفنية.
وأوضح عباس، في تصريحات للصحفيين عقب الجلسة الافتتاحية، أن الاجتماع الحالي هو مواصلة لاجتماع اللجنة الفنية الوطنية بين السودان وأثيوبيا ومصر، بهدف بحث مقترحات الدول بشأن الملء الأول والتشغيل لسد النهضة الأثيوبي.
وأكد أن اللجان الوطنية التي بدأت اجتماعاتها منذ تموز/يوليو 2018م مناط بها وضع أسس للملء والتشغيل، وقد أخرزت الكثير من النجاحات في دراسة بعض السيناريوهات وستتواصل مباحثاتها المشتركة.
