Statement on the call to extend the state of emergency
To the masses of the Sudanese people
We called yesterday to call for the extension of the state of emergency in the country, which the masses of the people and its various groups have already revolted against, invitations invoked to ensure the revolution, including the coup against the revolution of the people to suppress his freedom and undermine his will and desire for free expression and democratic transformation.
This position, which is contrary to the Sudanese people's revolution in December / April, calls once again for the exceptional conditions that restrict individual and collective fundamental freedoms and rights, and undermines the freedom of the press and the freedom to demonstrate and assemble in killing with the powers of the security services that exceed the law.
This call is a new dictatorship and a pretext to restrict the freedom of expression that has organized the country, offering the authority of the authority over the values ​​of freedom, a pretext to deprive citizens of their basic rights for which their revolution erupted.
The People's Congress regrets that this call comes when the martyrs of breaking up the rich sit-in have yet to be determined, who have not yet determined who is responsible for their deliberate killing and throwing them in the Nile, and the people still hear day after day about the tragic stories and stories from the credible parties about killing, torture, concealing bodies and attempts Blur the facts.
The extension of the state of emergency means that the government and its successors of the forces of freedom and change provide a new sign of more bloodshed for our people, and even incite it with its nefarious justifications for the successive crises of living and otherwise.
The People's Congress categorically rejects any call to extend the state of emergency, from any side, and demands the following:
First: To lift the state of emergency immediately and fully in compliance with the first slogan of the revolution to achieve freedom.
Second: Enable the police and security services to perform their duties in accordance with the law and nothing else in compliance with justice.
Third: To publish the full facts about the massacre of the sit-in, and to provide information to citizens on other crises and issues in order to promote the principle of transparency and integrity.
Fourth: Stop attempts to exclude and bypass the law by controlling state institutions, imposing an agenda and individuals to control its direction and guidance, and abiding by the requirements of the law and civil service controls.
Fifth: The People's Congress renews its call to reduce the transitional period, to ensure the popular mandate of the government, and to approve the election law and name its commission, in implementation of the primary task of the transitional government to achieve democratic transformation and restoration of power to the people.

بيان حول الدعوة لتمديد حالة الطوارئ
الي جماهير الشعب السوداني
خرجت علينا بالأمس دعوات تطالب بتمديد حالة الطوارئ بالبلاد، والتي سبق لجماهير الشعب وفئاته المختلفة الثورة عليها، دعوات مغلفة بالحرص علي الثورة تضمر الإنقلاب علي ثورة الشعب لتكبت حريته وتنال من إرادته ورغبته في التعبير الحر والتحول الديمقراطي.
هذا الموقف المناقض لثورة الشعب السوداني في ديسمبر – ابريل يدعو من جديد للأوضاع الإستثنائية التي تقيد الحريات والحقوق الأساسية الفردية والجماعية، وتضرب حرية الصحافة وحرية التظاهر والتجمع في مقتل بما تنص عليه من سلطات لأجهزة الأمن تتجاوز بها القانون.
هذه الدعوة هي سعي ديكتاتوري جديد وذريعة للتضييق على حرية التعبير التي إنتظمت البلاد، تقدم سلطان السلطة علي قيم الحرية ، ذريعة لحرمان المواطنيين من حقوقهم الأساسية التي تفجرت من أجلها ثورتهم.
ويؤسف المؤتمر الشعبي أن تجيء هذه الدعوة ولما يواري شهداء فض الإعتصام الثري بعد، وهم الذين لم تحدد حتي الآن الجهة المسئولة عن قتلهم عمدا ورميهم في النيل، ولا يزال الشعب يسمع يوما بعد يوم عن قصص وروايات مأساوية من الجهات الموثوقة عن القتل والتعذيب وإخفاء الجثث ومحاولات طمس الحقائق.
أن تمديد حالة الطوارئ يعني أن تقدم الحكومة ومن خلفها من قوي الحرية والتغيير إيذانا جديدا بمزيد من سفك الدماء لأبناء شعبنا، بل وتحرض علي ذلك بتبريراتها الشائنة بتوالي أزمات المعيشة وخلافها.
إن المؤتمر الشعبي ليرفض رفضا قاطعا أي دعوة لتمديد حالة الطوارئ، من اي جهة جاءت، ويطالب بالتالي :
أولا : رفع حالة الطوارئ فورا وتماما إلتزاما بشعار الثورة الأول بتحقيق الحرية.
ثانيا : تمكين الأجهزة الشرطية والأمنية من أداء مهامها وفق القانون ولا شيء سواه إلتزاما بالعدالة.
ثالثا : نشر الحقائق كاملة عن مجزرة فض الإعتصام، وتمليك المعلومات للمواطنين عن سائر الأزمات والقضايا تعزيزا لمبدأ الشفافية والنزاهة.
رابعا: وقف محاولات الإقصاء وتجاوز القانون بالتسلط علي مؤسسات الدولة وفرض أجندة وأفراد للتحكم في مسيرتها وتوجيهها، والإلتزام بمقتضيات القانون وضوابط الخدمة المدنية.
خامسا: يجدد المؤتمر الشعبي دعوته لتقليص الفترة الإنتقالية، ضمانا للتفويض الشعبي للحكومة، والتوافق على قانون الإنتخابات وتسمية مفوضيتها، إنفاذا للمهمة الأساسية للحكومة الإنتقالية بتحقيق التحول الديمقراطي ورد السلطة للشعب.
