Ugandan president appoints son as army chief
Ugandan President Yoweri Kaguta gave Museveni his only son as a general and appointed him chief of staff of the army's general staff. Muhuzi Kainrugaba was promoted from the rank of brigadier to brigadier general, second highest in the Ugandan army. Mohozi, 44, has held a three-year brigadier general, where he served as adviser to the chief of operations.
Muhousi's promotion came as part of a general promotion campaign involving 2,000 army officers. It is reported that Mohawzi's promotion is a preparation for him to succeed the 33-year-old mother.
If he heads Uganda after his father, he will not be the first in the African continent to succeed Joseph Kabila and his father, Laurent Kabila, in the former Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) and successor to Bongo and his father, Omar Bongo, as Gabon's president.
Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang appointed his son as his deputy and Eritrean President Isaias Afewerki appointed his eldest son, Abraham, as his special assistant.

الرئيس الاوغندي يعين أبنه قائدا عاما للجيش
منح الرئيس الاوغندي يوري كاغوتا موسيفيني ابنه الوحيد رتبة لواء وعينه قائدا عاما لهيئة الاركان العامة للجيش. وتم ترقية موهوزي كاينروغابا من رتبة عميد إلى مرتبة لواء وهي ثان أعلى رتبة في الجيش الاوغندي. وكان موهوزي البالغ من العمر 44 عاما يحتفظ برتبة عميد لمدة ثلاثة سنوات حيث كان يشغل منصب مستشار الرئيس الخاص لشئون العمليات.
وجاءت ترقية موهوزي ضمن حملة ترقيات عامة شملت 2000 ضابط في الجيش. وتشير الأنباء إلى أن ترقية موهوزي هي بمثابة إعداد له لخلافة والدة الذي يحكم البلاد منذ 33 عاما.
وفي حال ترؤس موهوزي لأوغندا بعد أبيه فإنه لن يكون الأول على صعيد القارة الافريقية حيث خلف جوزيف كابيلا والده لوران كابيلا في الكونغو الديمقراطية (زائير سابقا) وخلف على بونغو والده عمر بونغو في رئاسة الجابون.
وكان رئيس غينيا الاستوائية تيودور أوبيانغ قد عين ابنه نائبا له وقام الرئيس الارتري اسياس افورقي بتعيين ابنه البكر ابرهام مساعدا خاصا له.
