لطالما ردد صديقي العزيز علي اليامي بأن الحراك الشعبي الذي تشهده المنطقة منذ عام 2011 أو ما بات يعرف بـ"الربيع العربي" يمثل الحدث الأكثر أهمية في تاريخ العرب والمسلمين وغيرهم من الشرائح والأقليات وسينقل شعوب تلك البلاد بعد مخاضات طويلة وعسيرة إلى مرحلة جديدة تكون فيه حياة الإنسان وحقوقه هي القيمة الأساسية والمحور الأبرز في الخطاب السياسي والاجتماعي لكل القوى السياسية والاجتماعية والدينية.
وبحسب اليامي، فإن أهمية أحداث "الربيع العربي" تتمثل في الوعي الذي أحدثته في الذاكرة الجمعية وتأكيدها على قدرة الشعوب على تغيير الأنظمة عبر طرق سلمية ومحاسبة المسؤولين على جرائمهم وتجاوزاتهم وبناء دول حديثة تحترم فيها حقوق الإنسان ويسودها حكم القانون.

لم يسقط النظام بعد طالما لا تزال السلطة بيد قادة الجيش الذين تآمروا مع الإسلاميين ضد الشعب ولم يحركوا ساكنا طوال سنوات حكم الإنقاذ على كل التجاوزات بدءا بالتحالف مع تنظيم القاعدة والضحك على الشعب عبر الترويج للعقيدة الجهادية في معسكرات الدفاع الشعبي وإرسال الآلاف إلى حياض الموت في حرب أسبغوا عليها زورا وبهتانا صفة القداسة للتفريق بين أبناء الوطن الواحد وتبرير قتلهم على أساس ديني في الوقت الذي لم تكن في الحقيقة إلا حربا أهلية دافعها سياسي بحت.

لم تسقط بعد، طالما لا يزال المتورطون في ارتكاب جرائم حرب في دارفور والنيل الأزرق وجبال النوبة وغيرها من المناطق وأولئك الذين اعتقلوا وعذبوا النشطاء الحقوقيين والمعارضين السياسيين أحرارا وطالما ظل أئمة الفساد الذي كنزوا الأموال في البنوك العالمية وبنوا القصور وركبوا السيارات الفارهة بعيدون عن المحاسبة.

قد يرى البعض أنني أكتب من قمة برج عاجي بعيدا عن الواقع على الأرض والمعاناة اليومية لآلاف الثوار الذين يواجهون القمع والبطش بصدور عارية ويسهرون الليالي فيما أنام هانئا في بيتي ومع أفراد أسرتي، وقد يكونوا محقين في قولهم إلا أنني أرى أن مبادئي تحتم عليّ أن أكون أمينا مع نفسي فيما أكتب فإن وجد تجاوبا وترحيبا فبها ونعمة وإن جلب عليّ سخطا وقوبل بالرفض فإني أدرك أن إرضاء الجميع غاية لا تدرك.
وخلاصة القول، إن طريق التحرر من قيود الاستبداد طويل ومضن ومخاض التغيير والانعتاق أمر عسير جدا وإن دورة التجديد في المجتمعات لا تتم بين يوم وليلة وبحاجة إلى صبر وجلد وحكمة، فمن شاء فليصبر ومن شاء فليرتد على عقبيه لكنني أؤمن بأن الشعب السوداني أراد الحياة وليس أمام القدر سوى أن يستجيب. يا بني السودان، استمروا في اعتصامكم ونشر وعيكم الثوري وسيكون النصر حليفكم شاء من شاء وأبى من أبى.
