ونقلت وكالة الأنباء السعودية "واس"، قرار الملك سلمان بشأن توجيه حزمة من المساعدات الإنسانية إلى الشعب السوداني، والتي تشمل المشتقات البترولية والقمح والأدوية.

وقال رئيس المجلس الانتقالي الجديد عبد الفتاح البرهان  في كلمة تلفزيونية اليوم السبت إنه، ألغي حظر التجول الليلي الذي فرضه سلفه عوض بن عوف، وأصدر أوامر بالإفراج عن كل من تم سجنهم بموجب قانون الطوارئ التي فرضها الرئيس المعزول عمر البشير.
وأضاف برهان، الذي تولي السلطة عقب تنازل سابقه عوض بن عوف عن رئاسة المجلس العسكري، بعد يوم واحد من عزل البشير، إن "المجلس الانتقالي العسكري يلتزم بإرساء الحكم المدني، خلال فترة انتقالية مدتها عامان كحد أقصى، يتم خلالها أو في نهايتها تسليم حكم الدولة لحكومة مدنية مشكلة من قبل الشعب".
