"A new feature for Wattsap will get rid of the inconvenience of "Groups
IM has launched a new feature that may solve one of its worst problems, adding them to groups without their consent and then having to leave.
The new feature, which comes in conjunction with a new India-specific information validation service, allows users to specify who can add them to groups, similar to what Wattab provides for "Last Viewed," "Profile Picture," and "Status."
The new feature can be accessed by going to Settings, Privacy and Groups, and the user can select Who can add me to groups to choose from three options: Everyone or My Contacts "My contacts" or "Nobody".
On this page, Wattsapab refers to the settings that allows group administrators, who can not add users to groups, to send special invitations instead of adding them to them.
This feature is designed to address a common problem in many countries around the world where people add other users who do not know anything about them except that they get their numbers from somewhere, to the groups they create or participate in, so users have to By leaving those groups.
Also, the new feature is not currently visible to all users and is expected to be released to everyone in the coming weeks.

أطلقت خدمة التراسل الفوري واتساب ميزة جديدة قد تحل واحدة من أسوأ مشكلاتها التي يعاني منها المستخدمون، وهي إضافتهم إلى المجموعات دون الحصول على موافقتهم، ثم الاضطرار إلى مغادرتها.
وتسمح الميزة الجديدة، التي تأتي بالتزامن مع خدمة جديدة للتحقق من صحة المعلومات موجهة للهنود خاصةً، للمستخدمين بتحديد من يمكنهم إضافتهم إلى المجموعات، وذلك غرار ما توفره واتساب لخاصية "آخر ظهور"، و "صورة الملف الشخصي"، و "الحالة".
ويمكن الوصول إلى الميزة الجديدة من خلال الذهاب إلى “الإعدادات” Settings ثم “الخصوصية” Privacy ثم “المجموعات” Groups، وهناك يمكن للمستخدم تحديد “من يمكنه إضافتي إلى المجموعات”، ليختار من بين ثلاثة خيارات: “الجميع” Everyone أو “جهات اتصالي” My contacts أو “لا أحد” Nobody.
وتشير واتساب ضمن هذه الصفحة في الإعدادات إلى أنه يُسمح لمشرفي المجموعات، الذين لا يمكنهم إضافة المستخدمين إلى المجموعات، إرسال دعوات على نحو خاص بدلًا من إضافتهم إليها.
يُشار إلى أن هذه الميزة تهدف إلى معالجة مشكلة شائعة في العديد من الدول حول العالم، حيث يقوم أشخاص بإضافة مستخدمين آخرين لا يعرفون عنهم أي شيء ما عدا أنهم حصلوا على أرقامهم من مكان ما، إلى المجموعات التي ينشؤونها أو التي يشتركون فيها، ليضطر المستخدمون بعد ذلك بمغادرة تلك المجموعات.
هذا، وتجدر الإشارة أيضًا إلى أن الميزة الجديدة لا تظهر في الوقت الحالي لدى جميع المستخدمين، ويُتوقع إطلاقها للجميع خلال الأسابيع المقبلة.
