A new film presents different facts about the largest rescue operation in the history of Israel after the name of Netanyahu's brother, who was its leader .. and arouses controversy in Israel
A new film about the biggest rescue operation in the history of the State of Israel is expected to be shown in theaters soon, but it is not certain to be admired by Israelis.
Argentine director Jose Fidelha has released a seven-day film about Operation Entebbe in which he speaks of Operation Entebbe and claims that Yonatan (Netanyahu), the brother of the prime minister, did not take part in it much as the Israelis think.
Operation Entebbe was a rescue operation carried out by the IDF Special Unit, the General Staff, in 1976 in Uganda, in Africa, after pro-Palestinian activists kidnapped an Israeli aircraft. A cell of Germans and Palestinians hijacked an Air France plane en route from Israel to France carrying 105 passengers, most of them Israeli Jews and crew members.
In the new film, he is expected to raise the role of Uni Netanyahu, a secret officer of the General Staff, who took part in Operation Entebbe and killed many Israelis, including Prime Minister Netanyahu. The Israelis mention Yonatan as an action hero as an officer in the rescue operation, and after his death the campaign was called the "Yonatan Campaign". But Yonatan does not play a major role in the film, killing early in the process according to the film's events, so it did not play a big role in the success of the campaign.
Another feature that appears in the film and may raise the resentment of the Israelis is that most of the film focuses on the hijackers of the plane, and not on the victims.
The director of the film told a news conference that the film was based on testimonies he received from soldiers involved in the operation. "I think we are close to the truth," the director said. "The terrorists are people who have committed terrible and unforgivable acts, yet they are still human," he said.

من المتوقع أن يعرض فيلم جديد حول عملية الإنقاذ الأكبر في تاريخ دولة إسرائيل في دور السينما قريبا، ولكن ليس من المؤكد أن يحظى بإعجاب الإسرائيليين.
أطلق المُخرِج الأرجنتيني، حوزيه فديلها، فيلما يدعى "سبعة أيام في عملية عنتيبي" يتحدث فيه عن عملية عنتيبي ويدعي أن يوناتان (يوني) نتنياهو، أخ رئيس الحكومة، لم يشارك فيها بشكل كبير كما يعتقد الإسرائيليون.
"عملية عنتيبي" هي عملية إنقاذ قامت بها الوحدة الخاصة التابعة للجيش الإسرائيلي، سرية هيئة الأركان العامة، في عام 1976 في أوغندا، في أفريقيا، بعد أن اختطف نشطاء موالون للفلسطينيين طائرة إسرائيلية. فقد اختطفت خلية مؤلفة من ألمانيَين وفلسطينيَين طائرة "إير فرانس" وهي في طريقها من إسرائيل إلى فرنسا وكان على متنها 105 مسافر، كان معظمهم من اليهود الإسرائيليين، وأفراد طاقم الطائرة.
في الفيلم الجديد، يتوقع أن يثير دور يوني نتنياهو، ضابط سرية هيئة الأركان العامة، الذي شارك في عملية "عنتيبي" وقُتِل فيها غضب الكثير من الإسرائيليين، ومن بينهم رئيس الحكومة نتنياهو. يذكر الإسرائيليون يوناتان بصفته بطلا عمل ضابطا في عملية الإنقاذ، وبعد وفاته أطلِق على الحملة اسم "حملة يوناتان" تيمنا به. ولكن لا يؤدي يوناتان دورا رئيسيا في الفيلم أبدا، إذ يُقتل في مرحلة مبكرة من العمليّة وفق أحداث الفيلم، لهذا لم يؤد دورا كبيرا في نجاح الحملة.
ثمة خاصية أخرى تظهر في الفيلم وربما تثير استياء الإسرائيليين وهي أن معظم الفيلم يركز على خاطفي الطائرة، وليس على الضحايا.
قال مُخرِج الفيلم في مؤتمر صحفي إنه يستند في الفيلم على شهادات تلقاها من جنود شاركوا في العملية. "أعتقد أننا قريبون من الحقيقة"، قال المُخرِج. وأوضح أن "الإرهابيين هم أشخاص ارتكبوا أعمالا فظيعة لا تُغفر، ومع ذلك ما زالوا بشرا".
