Madonna, a pop singer, has described her son, David Banda, as "the future president of Malawi" in a glee in which the 12-year-old boy praises.
The American singer has six children, four of whom have adopted them from Malawi.
Madonna's relationship with Malawi, in south-eastern Africa, is reported to be turbulent.
In 2013, Malawi accused Madonna of "bullying state officials" and was exaggerating her contributions to Malawi and demanding that she be treated like VIPs.
Madonna's manager accused the Malawian government of having a "grudge" against the charity singer's foundation, which she founded in 2006, when she adopted David.
David Panda is Madonna's biggest adoptive son.
His adoption sparked a strong reaction because Malian law requires parents who seek adoption to live in the country at least one year before adoption.

He ignored this requirement for the pop singer, who said in an interview at the time, that there were no written adoption laws regulating the adoption of foreigners for children from Malawi.
A high court in Malawi in 2009 rejected Madonna's request to adopt a daughter, because she did not spend the required time in the country, which increased to 18 months.
But Madonna appealed the court's ruling to the Supreme Court and got the right to adopt her second child from Malawi, Mercy James.
Authorities in Malawi last year gave the singer permission to adopt again, becoming the mother of two twins, Esther and Stella Muali.
