The security authorities released the businessman and head of the Chamber of Commerce Malik Jaafar after two days of detention.

The security services had summoned Malik Jaafar, chairman of the electronic newspaper Bag News, and journalist Lina Yaqoub, the editor-in-chief, and investigated with them the publication of the newspaper, a presidential decision to dismiss the Governor of the Central Bank, Hazem Abdul Qadir, and his deputy as governor.

The security services released journalist Lina Yaqub while the owner of the newspaper kept the businessman Malik Jaafar in detention until he was released on Saturday afternoon.

أطلقت السلطات الأمنية سراح رجل الأعمال ورئيس الغرفة التجارية مالك جعفر بعد اعتقال استمر يومين.

وكانت الاجهزة الامنية قد استدعت مالك جعفر رئيس مجلس إدارة صحيفة (باج نيوز) الالكترونية والصحفية لينا يعقوب رئيس التحرير وحققت معهما حول نشر الصحيفة خبراً بصدور قرار رئاسي بإقالة محافظ البنك المركزي (بنك السودان) حازم عبدالقادر من منصبه وتعيين نائبه محافظا تبين انه غير صحيح.

واطلقت الاجهزة الامنية سراح الصحفية لينا يعقوب في حين ابقت مالك الصحيفة رجل الاعمال مالك جعفر رهن الاعتقال حتى اطلقت سراحه عصر اليوم السبت.

ونقلت صحيفة الوطن البحرينية عن خبراء ومراقبين ربطوا بين مصدري الشائعة قناة (سودانية 24) التي يملكها وجدي ميرغني رئيس غرفة الصادرات باتحاد الغرف التجارية، ومالك جعفر سر الختم صاحب الموقع الإخباري (باج نيوز) رئيس الغرفة القومية للمستوردين، والشائعة، وبين إعلان محافظ بنك السودان حازم عبدالقادر مؤخرا عزمه منح عوائد مجزية للمصدرين ومراجعة ضوابط الاستيراد لترشيد استخدام النقد الأجنبي.
