Listen to a new Arabic-Hebrew song that unifies cultures
A unique collaboration between the Israeli singer Moshe Peretz and the Arab-Israeli singer, Nasreen Kadri, produces an impressive love song in Hebrew and Arabic
The famous Israeli singer Moshe Peretz and the brilliant Arab singer Nasreen Kadri released on Sunday a new song in Hebrew and Arabic with a Latin melody. Musician Moshe Peretz wrote the song after he went to singer Nesreen asking her to write lyrics in Arabic for the song. Nesreen responded to his request and joined the song with him.
The song, "We Live Together," describes a love story for lovers whose life crises have kept them apart, leaving each of them living with pain and memory from the time they spent together.
"The cooperation with Nesreen was natural and correct, and I am happy that I will sing for the first time in Arabic with a talented and great singer like Nesreen," said Peretz. "The rapprochement between us is real and professional, and it inspired me to write lyrics for the first time," Nesrin said.

أطلق المطرب الإسرائيلي المشهور، موشيه بيرتس، والمطربة العربية المتألقة، نسرين قدري، اليوم الأحد، أغنية جديدة بالعبرية والعربية ذات لحن لاتيني. كتب الموسيقار موشيه بيرتس كلمات الأغنية بعد أن توجه إلى المطربة نسرين طالبا منها كتابة كلمات بالعربية للأغنية. استجابت نسرين لطلبه وانضمت لتأدية الأغنية معه.
تصف الأغنية المعروفة بـ "عشنا معا"، قصة حب لعاشقين نجحت أزمات الحياة في إبعادهما عن بعض، تاركة كل منهما يعيش ألما وذاكرة من الفترة التي قضياها معا.
قبيل إطلاق الأغنية المشتركة، قال بيرتس: "كان التعاون مع نسرين طبيعيا وصحيحا، وأنا سعيد لأني سأغني للمرة الأولى بالعربية مع مطربة موهوبة وكبيرة مثل نسرين". وقالت نسرين: "إن التقارب بيننا حقيقي ومهني، وقد منحني إلهاما لكتابة كلمات أغنية للمرة الأولى. في الواقع، أضفت رونقا على النص وأنا فرحة بالنتيجة".
