أثار لؤي الشريف دهشة لدى متابعيه متحدثي العربية والعبرية في تويتر، عندما نشر أمس مقطع فيديو يجيب فيه بالعبرية بمستوى عال عن مخاوف طُرحت في عدد من الصحف العبرية ضد بن سلمان وضد البرنامج النووي السعودي.

توجه الشريف متحدثا بالعبرية بمستوى ممتاز إلى الإسرائيليين محاولا التوضيح لهم أن السعودية لا تسعى إلى السيطرة على الأراضي أو استخدام قوتها العسكرية ضد الدول الأخرى في المنطقة. حظي مقطع الفيديو بآلاف "اللايكات" والتعليقات. دُهش الكثيرون من مستوى سيطرة الشريف على العبريّة. أبدى بعض الأشخاص اهتماما بتعلم العبريّة، وقدم لهم الشريف بعض النصائح معربا أنه ينوي فتح منصة تعليمية لتعليم اللغات والتاريخ ومنها العبريّة.
