· The death of the deceased on Wednesday, March 25, 2018, a long-delayed cause. Comrade fighter / Yasser Jaafar Ibrahim al-Sanhuri, a loyal member of the Sudan People's Liberation Movement (SPLM), was born in Wadmani from a fighting family. So it is not surprising that all of his sons and eldest deceased Yasser Jafar are fighters in the ranks of the Sudan People's Liberation Army (SPLA).
When the SPLM was founded in 1983, Yasser Jaafar was chained to prison in Kober prison as one of the opponents of the Jaafar Nimeiri regime. The deceased went directly from prison to the jungle and joined the Popular Movement and the SPLA in 1987. The deceased is considered one of the first northerners They joined the SPLM. Before that, the deceased Yasser Jaafar was an active member of the Democratic Front Organization at Cairo University - Khartoum Branch.
The deceased Yasser Jafar worked after graduating from the training camps on several fronts, the most important of which was the Eastern Front, the "New Sudan Brigade". Throughout his struggle, he was known for courage, patience, sacrifice and self-denial.
· Jafar Jafar assumed the duties of commander of the joint forces of the Khartoum Brigade following the signing of the peace agreement in 2005.
· The deceased Yasser Jafar served as secretary of political and organizational affairs in the northern sector for several years.
· Appointed a member of the National Parliament 2005-2010.
· A member of the Arab Parliament was chosen as representative of Sudan.
· Appointed as Chairman of the Drafting Committee for the Manifesto in 2012.
· The SPLM and the SPLA with all its institutions, if they forget it, mourn a sincere companion who lived honest and faithful to his principles and loyalty to Sudan's new project and a friend of all.
· Warmest condolences to his large family, family, friends, colleagues, friends and children (Al-Fateh, Mu'awiyah, Aisha) and his patient, Sabour Alam.

الرفيق المناضل ياسر جعفر السنهوري...عاش نزيهاً ومات عفيفاً

· غيب الموت اليوم الاربعاء الثامن وعشرون من مارس 2018م أثر علة لم تمهله طويلاً الرفيق المناضل المقاتل/ ياسر جعفر إبراهيم السنهوري، أحد أبناء الحركة الشعبية لتحرير السودان المخلصين ، الفقيد من مواليد مدينة ودمدني من أسرة مناضلة تربّت علي النضال والكفاح،أذ أن والده كان نقابياً منحازاً لقضايا المهمشين، لذلك ليس مستغرباً أن يكون كل أبنائه وأكبرهم الفقيد ياسر جعفر مقاتلين في صفوف الجيش الشعبي لتحرير السودان.

· عندما تأسست الحركة الشعبية لتحرير السودان في العام 1983م كان ياسر جعفر مقيداً بالسلاسل معتقلاً بسجن كوبر ، كواحد من معارضي نظام جعفر نميري، ليخرج الفقيد مباشرة من السجن الي الأدغال وينضم للحركة الشعبية والجيش الشعبي لتحرير السودان في العام 1987م، ويعتبر الفقيد من أوائل الشماليين الذين التحقوا بالحركة الشعبية، وقبل ذلك كان الفقيد ياسر جعفر عضواً نشطاً في تنظيم الجبهة الديمقراطية بجامعة القاهرة - فرع الخرطوم.

· الفقيد ياسر جعفر عمل عقب تخرجه من معسكرات التدريب في عدة جبهات قتالية أهمها جبهة الشرق " لواء السودان الجديد "وعُرف طوال مسيرته النضالية بالشجاعة والصبر و التضحية ونكران الذات.

· تقلد الفقيد ياسر جعفر مهام قائد القوات المشتركة " لواء الخرطوم " عقب توقيع الاتفاقية السلام في العام 2005م.

· شغل الفقيد ياسر جعفر منصب سكرتير الشئون السياسية والتنظيمية قطاع الشمال لعدة سنوات.

· عيّن عضواً في البرلمان القومي 2005 – 2010م.

· إختير عضواً في البرلمان العربي ممثلاً للسودان.

· تم تكليفه رئيساً للجنة إعداد مسودة المنفستو في العام 2012م.

· الحركة الشعبية والجيش الشعبي لتحرير السودان بكل مؤسساتها إذا تنعيه، تنعي رفيقاً مخلصاً عاش نزيهاً ومؤمناً بمبادئه ووفياً لمشروع السودان الجديد وصديقاً للجميع ومات عفيف اليد واللسان.

· أحر التعازي لأسرته الكبيرة وأهله ورفاقه وزملائه وأصدقائه وأبنائه ( الفاتح ، معاوية ، عائشة ) وزوجته الصبور علم.
