With his sense of diminishing support coming from Saudi Arabia, Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir is strengthening his relations with Ankara and Doha.

Riyadh is also unhappy about keeping al-Bashir on relations with Doha and diplomatic honeymoon with Turkey, which led to the extradition of the island of Sukak to Ankara in exchange for promises of investment, reconstruction and military cooperation, according to the French patrol.
Sudan's relations with Ankara and Doha are also a source of great concern in Cairo. ومما زاد الطين بلة، وفقا لـ«أفريكا إنتليجنس»، فإن المملكة العربية السعودية في الآونة الأخيرة نفت عشرات الآلاف من المواطنين السودانيين بدعوى أنه ليس لديهم تصريح إقامة.

وحسب التقرير، فإن المخابرات الأمريكية تدخلت مع نظيرتيها السودانية والمصرية، ما أسفر عن اجتماع بين الرئيسين المصري «عبدالفتاح السيسي» والسوداني «عمر البشير»، قبل أن يتم الاتفاق على عقد لجنة رباعية تضم وزيري الخارجية ورئيسا المخابرات، لحل القضايا العالقة.
