"Babtain Cultural" celebrates the Arab Poetry Spring and honors Suad Al-Sabah and Thuraya Al-Arrayed

In a ceremony that coincided with International Poetry Day, and continued with poetry and honoring poets, the Foundation honored the poets poet Suad Al-Sabah and poet Thuraya Al-Arrayed in the Spring Festival of Arabic Poetry, which was established by the Foundation Theater Library Babtain Central Arab poetry in Kuwait over three days.
The festival, which concluded yesterday evening and entered its eleventh season, included two symposia about the celebrated poets and three poetry evenings for a number of Arab poets.
She participated in the first symposium which was held yesterday evening and devoted Dr. Nour Al-Huda Badis, Dr. Fatima Yousif Al Ali, and Dr. Noria Al-Roumi, who delivered the speech and expressed her gratitude for this honor and talked about her scientific and creative journey.
The second symposium, which was held yesterday evening, celebrated the march of the poet Dr. Thoraya Al-Arayed, who participated in the seminar as a speaker alongside Dr. Mai Abdullah Al-Dabbagh and Dr. Maysaa Al-Khawaja.
On the evening of the festival, the poet Abdelaziz Saud Al Babtain, the poet Ahmed Antar Mustafa of Egypt, the winner of the best poetry prize, the poet Marwa Halawa of Syria, the winner of the best poem, and the poet Abdul Latif Ben Youssef of Saudi Arabia, The best poetry book about youth, and the poet Omar Elraji from Morocco, winner of the best poem for the youth. And poet Samira Farhi from Morocco.
The second evening, which was held yesterday evening, was attended by poets Iman Al-Shammari, Amer Amer, Areej Rashid, Abdullah Al-Failakawi, Rabaa Momani and Abdul Rahman Al-Najjar.
The poetry evenings were concluded with the participation of poets Thuraya Al-Arrayed, Muhannad Musallam, Abdul-Aziz Lahh, Mawadi Rahal, Mohammad Awwad Al-Mutairi and Maher Al-Khair.
The president of the Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain Cultural Foundation said in a speech at the opening of the festival: "Honoring the creators of poets is a fundamental goal of the Foundation, and in recognition of the beauty of these poets," who preserve in the creative word the nation's spirit of fragmentation and perversion, .
He added that this honor came from the first day of the work of the Foundation through the establishment of forums and festivals and poetry evenings with the participation of thousands of poets, academics and media and the printing of more than 400 issues dealing with Arabic poetry.
Al-Babtain revealed the intention of the Foundation to issue the "Al-Babtain Dictionary of Arab poets in the era of states and the Emirates", which deals with Arab poets from 1285 until 1800 AD, pointing out that this dictionary "will be the largest historical poetic encyclopedia."
He announced the decision of the Council of the members of the University of Leiden Dutch one of the oldest and most important universities in the world to establish the center (Babtain - Leiden Center for Arab culture), "which includes the oldest chair of Arabic in European universities, dating back to 1613.
He said that the Foundation and in cooperation with the United Nations will hold a forum (Babtain International Peace) in 2019 in the city symbolizes peace will be identified later and expressed his pride in the establishment of this forum.
In addition to honoring Dr. Suad Al-Sabah and Dr. Thuraya Al-Arayed, the festival witnessed the honoring of the winners of the awards of the Foundation, where it was awarded the honorary award for the poetic creativity of the late Egyptian poet Farouk Shousha in recognition of his literary efforts.
Dr. Fawzi Issa and Dr. Abdulrahman Abdel Salam from Egypt won the prize for creativity in poetry criticism, while the winner of the best poet poetry prize was Ahmed Antar from Egypt. The poet Marwa Halawa received the Best Poem from Syria.
In the category of the Babtain Prize for young poets Abdul Latif bin Yusuf of Saudi Arabia won the best poetry chamber while the Moroccan poet Omar Alraji received the best poem.
The Foundation honored the Kuwaiti student Fatima Al-Qarashi, winner of the second place in the Arabic Speaking and Speaking Competition in the Culture Management Competition of the League of Arab States and the Kuwaiti student Hadi Al-Mutairi, winner of the third prize in the poetry award for the secondary stage in the same award.

في احتفالية توافقت مع يوم الشعر العالمي ، وتواصلت مع احتفالها بالشعر وتكريم الشعراء، كرمت مؤسسة عبدالعزيز سعود البابطين الثقافية الشاعرين الدكتورة سعاد الصباح والشاعرة ثريا العريض ضمن مهرجان ربيع الشعر العربي الذي أقامته المؤسسة مسرح مكتبة البابطين المركزية للشعر العربي في الكويت على مدار ثلاثة أيام.
المهرجان الذي اختتم مساء أمس ودخل موسمه الحادي عشر تضمن ندوتين عن الشاعرتين المحتفى بهما، وثلاث أمسيات شعرية لعدد من الشعراء العرب.
شاركت في الندوة الأولى التي أقيمت مساء أمس الأول وخصصت حول الشاعرة الدكتورة سعاد الصباح كلا من الدكتورة نور الهدى باديس، والدكتورة فاطمة يوسف العلي، وترأس الجلسة الدكتورة نورية الرومي التي ألقت كلمة الدكتورة سعاد الصباح وعبرت عن امتنانها لهذا التكريم وتحدثت عن رحلتها العلمية والإبداعية .
أما الندوة الثانية والتي أقيمت مساء أمس فقد احتفت بمسيرة الشاعرة الدكتورة ثريا العريض، التي شاركت في الندوة كمتحدثة بجانب الدكتورة مي عبدالله الدباغ والدكتورة ميساء الخواجة، وأدار الجلسة الدكتورة نسيمة الغيث.
وفي الأمسيات الشعرية .. شارك في الأمسية الأولى في يوم افتتاح المهرجان كل من الشاعر عبدالعزيز سعود البابطين، والشاعر أحمد عنتر مصطفى من مصر الفائز بجائزة أفضل ديوان شعر، والشاعرة مروة حلاوة من سوريا الفائزة بجائزة أفضل قصيدة، والشاعر عبداللطيف بن يوسف من السعودية الفائز بجائزة أفضل ديوان شعر عن فئة الشباب، والشاعر عمر الراجي من المغرب الفائز بجائزة أفضل قصيدة عن فئة الشباب. والشاعرة سميرة فرحي من المغرب.
أما الأمسية الثانية التي أقيمت مساء أمس الأول، فشارك فيها كل من الشعراء إيمان الشمري وعامر العامر، وأريج رشيد، وعبدالله الفيلكاوي، ورابعة المومني، وعبدالرحمن النجار .
واختتمت الأماسي الشعرية، بمشاركة الشعراء ثريا العريض ومهند مسلم وعبدالعزيز لوح وموضي رحال ومحمد عواض المطيري وماهر الخير.
وكان رئيس مؤسسة عبدالعزيز سعود البابطين الثقافية قد قال في كلمة له في افتتاح المهرجان: إن تكريم المبدعين من الشعراء هو هدف أساسي من أهداف المؤسسة وذلك وفاء واعترافا بجميل هؤلاء الشعراء “الذين يحصنون بالكلمة الخلاقة روح الأمة من التشظي والانحراف ويلهمونها الثبات في منعطفات التاريخ الفاصلة”.
واضاف أن هذا التكريم أتى منذ اليوم الأول لعمل المؤسسة عبر اقامة الملتقيات والمهرجانات والأمسيات الشعرية بمشاركة آلاف الشعراء والأكاديميين والاعلاميين وطباعة أكثر من 400 اصدار يعنى بالشعر العربي.
وكشف البابطين عن اعتزام المؤسسة اصدار (معجم البابطين لشعراء العربية في عصر الدول والإمارات) الذي يتناول شعراء العربية منذ سنة 1285 وحتى سنة 1800 للميلاد مشيرا إلى أن هذا المعجم “سيكون أكبر موسوعة شعرية تاريخية”.
واعلن عن قرار مجلس أعضاء جامعة ليدن الهولندية أحد أقدم وأهم الجامعات في العالم تأسيس (مركز البابطين – ليدن للثقافة العربية) “الذي يضم أقدم كرسي للغة العربية في الجامعات الأوروبية حيث يعود تاريخه إلى 1613″.
وذكر ان المؤسسة وبالتعاون مع الأمم المتحدة ستعقد منتدى (البابطين العالمي للسلام) في عام 2019 في مدينة ترمز للسلام سيتم تحديدها لاحقا معربا عن فخره باقامة هذا المنتدى.
وبالإضافة إلى تكريم الدكتورة سعاد الصباح والدكتورة ثريا العريض، شهد المهرجان تكريم الشعراء الفائزين بجوائز المؤسسة حيث منحت الجائزة التكريمية للابداع الشعري للشاعر المصري الراحل فاروق شوشة تقديرا لجهوده الأدبية.
ونال جائزة الابداع في نقد الشعر كل من الدكتور فوزي عيسى والدكتور عبدالرحمن عبدالسلام من مصر في حين حصد جائزة أفضل ديوان شعر الشاعر أحمد عنتر من مصر وحصلت الشاعرة مروة حلاوة من سوريا على جائزة أفضل قصيدة.
وعن فئة جائزة البابطين للشعراء الشباب حصل عبداللطيف بن يوسف من السعودية على جائزة أفضل ديوان شعر بينما حصل الشاعر المغربي عمر الراجي على جائزة أفضل قصيدة.

وكرمت المؤسسة الطالبة الكويتية فاطمة القراشي الفائزة بالمركز الثاني بمسابقة التحدث باللغة العربية والخطابة في مسابقة ادارة الثقافة التابعة لجامعة الدول العربية والطالب الكويتي هادي المطيري الفائز بالمركز الثالث في الإلقاء الشعري للمرحلة الثانوية في نفس الجائزة.
