Egyptian killed in firing ballistic missiles at Saudi Arabia
An Egyptian resident of Saudi Arabia was killed Sunday after seven ballistic missiles were fired at the kingdom.
The Saudi-led coalition in Yemen said the air defense forces had intercepted the seven missiles, which were aimed at the capital Riyadh, the cities of Jazan, Khamis Mushayt and Najran.
Fragments caused by the destruction of these missiles in the air killed an Egyptian resident and injured two other Egyptians, causing material damage.
The coalition said in a statement that the Yemeni Houthi group behind the launch of these rockets, according to the official Saudi Press Agency.
"This hostile act ... proves the continued involvement of the Iranian regime in supporting the Huthis," the alliance said in the statement.

Saudi Arabia's air defense forces on Sunday intercepted a rocket over Riyadh, Saudi media reported, in a suspected attack by the Houthis coinciding with the third anniversary of the intervention of the Saudi-led Arab alliance in Yemen.
Witnesses said they heard loud bangs and saw flashes of light in the sky but there were no reports of casualties.
Since November, the Houthis have fired several missiles at Saudi Arabia, Riyadh has confirmed that all its air defenses have intercepted them.
On November 4, Saudi Arabia foiled a rocket attack by the Houthis on Riyadh International Airport in an attack that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said was "tantamount to an act of war against the kingdom," accusing Iran of supplying the Houthis with rockets.
The Houthis took control of the Yemeni capital of Sanaa in September 2014.
The Saudi-led coalition forces intervened on March 26, 2015 to support the government in countering the Huthi advance.
The conflict in Yemen has killed about 10,000 people and injured around 53,000 in the country, which is also experiencing a cholera outbreak.
