إنتقل إلى رحمة الله يوم الخميس الماضي بالعاصمة أسمرا العقيد المناضل آدم أبو بكر شنقب عضو مجلس إدارة ( حرات ) للمواصلات ـ التابعة لوزارة الدفاع بعد نضال طويل . التحق الفقيد المناضل بجبهة التحرير الإريترية في 1969م مقاتلا بعد نضال في الخلايا السرية داخل المدن . قاتل ضمن صفوف قوات التحرير الشعبية ثم عضوا في إدارة النقل وعضوا في الجبهة الشعبية متنقلا في

عدد من المهام والمواقع النضالية . ودفن يوم السبت الماضي في مقابر الشهداء اسمرا ، وسط حضور كبير من المشيعين من رسميين وشعبيين، وغاب عن التشيع الرئيس اسياس وفليبوس ولد يوهنس المسؤول الأول في وزارة الدفاع . وبرغم السيرة المشرقه للعقيد الراحل إلا أن خبر وفاته تم تجاهلها تماما ولم تنشر وسائل الإعلام الرسمية أي شئ بهذا الخصوص كما جرت العادة عند وفاة أي من قدامى المقاتلين. خالص العزاء لأسرته ولعموم آل شنقب في على قدر والسودان .
