Last week I met an amazing Young woman, Haben Girma. She is so impressive, so special. She is the first Deaf-Blind graduate from Harvard University. At her age and her disabilities, she does things that even a person without disabilities can't do. Immediately after meeting her, I tried to compose my experience to share with you what I felt about her but i couldn't find words enough to really express myself. She is trying to help the disabled but her messages, her can do attitude and what she has achieved so far can change the lives of many who think that they are not disabled. She reminded me the following quote by Scott Hamilton "The only disability in life is a bad attitude."
Very proud to have met Haben. Learned a lot and so inspired.
