France crowned second in the World Cup
The French national team entered history from their biggest league and won the 2018 World Cup by defeating Croatia 4-2 on Sunday in Moscow.
The match was a major stir at the Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow on Sunday evening, and the French were able to achieve their second World Cup in history, after the completion of 1998.
France led Croatia's Mario Manzukic in the 18th minute, and Croatia's Ivan Perisic equalized with a powerful shot in the 28th minute.
The video technique had a presence in the final, where Argentine referee Nestor Pettania scored a penalty for France, after a touch on the same Pericic. Antoine Grismann scored a successful shot to give France a lead in the 38th minute.
France came in the second half and Paul Pogba and young man Kilian Mbabi scored the third and fourth goals in the 59th and 65th minutes, from two spectacular shots.
Mario Manzukic restored hope to Croatia in the 69th minute, taking advantage of a "fatal" mistake for French goalkeeper Hugo Lauris, making it 2-4.
Croatia was unable to return to the match after that, and the French coach Didier Deschamps completely enveloped the outlets, giving France the second title.
The final entered history, being the second in terms of the "highest record" in the history of the final matches, after the 1958 World Cup, which saw 7 goals, and beat Brazil to Sweden 5-2.
France have won Argentina's second title in history and coach Didier Deschamps III has been the favorite to take the trophy as a player and coach, after Brazilian Mario Zagalo and German Franz Beckenbauer.
