MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has no intention of receiving Israeli air force chief Amikam Norkin, who arrived in Moscow at the head of a military delegation, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said
In an interview with reporters, Piskov said Putin would not receive the military official who carried the results of the Israeli inquiry into the incident of the downing of the Russian El-20 plane in Syria, which claimed the lives of 15 Russian servicemen
The plane was shot down on Monday night by Syrian air defenses during an Israeli air strike on Latakia province. Moscow blamed Tel Aviv for the tragic incident, stressing that Israel had not notified Russia of the attack until a minute before its implementation
