The psychology of religious extremism
Hossam Abdel Hussein
The doctrine of man defines the treatment in real behavior, whether positive or negative, and extremist religious thought is now rooted in the world, especially in the Middle East and Europe, especially in the heavenly religions (beyond nature) of Christianity and Islam, which means the intolerance of a person or group Religion or doctrine in a given religion, and extremism may be positive in the acceptance of full or negative in the direction of total rejection, and is the limit of moderation in the middle distance between them, it is a closed method of thinking characterized by the inability to accept any beliefs differ from the beliefs of the person or group or tolerance
Religious extremism has its manifestations in the lack of science and failure in life, the inability to progress and creativity, the intolerance of opinion and the non-recognition of the other opinion, especially in matters of judgment, with absolute hatred of those who disagree with him, and this misunderstanding makes the extremist these things; One who sees himself and his opinion, and sees himself alone on the right and the wrong, and violence in dealing, and coarseness in the method, and reduce the work of others and mistrust them, without dealing with the beautiful and dialogue and recognition of the other opinion, while not allowed to see clearly the interests of creation, where It allows itself to strive in the most difficult matters One of the most dangerous manifestations of extremism is the Takfiri ideology in Muslim societies, where the owners of this thought are distracted in misleading people and expiating them and praising their blood and money
Where the causes of religious extremism lie in several areas, the first of which is: economic and social, which is the development crisis of inflation and unemployment, the low standard of living of most citizens, the disproportion between income and high prices, as a result of these economic and political repercussions which directly affected the individual's thinking and behavior, And the trend of society together, which contributed to the expansion of the phenomenon of extremism in the light of the absence of the role of the family, and the decline of the role of education, and the breadth of information and the speed of communication, which led to the control of symbols of this thought on the halo of people, to sanctify and dominate them
Second: the political causes of access to power, and the possibility of continuing influence in various fields, through the intersection of extremist thought in society, and then total domination of the mind and power
Thirdly, provoking religious feelings by falsifying values, morals, beliefs or rites, by saying or not, while not giving the opportunity to respond to this, and most importantly, the complete absence of reason and reliance on historical texts, which gives a double message to the person to be puzzled and worried. In the credibility of those around him, because of the contradiction between reality and extremist ideology, and thus becomes more aggressive
When the young man begins the path of religious commitment, he makes a great effort to overcome his inner desires (especially sex and aggression), but it surprises him that there are excitements in the society that try to awaken these desires urgently, and here the young man feels the possibility of falling into the unethical desires, To conflict with the exciting factors, and clashed with the symbols of society as they are responsible for what happens to him
Fourth: psychological reasons that affect the empty soul of
The desire to practice violence, which is a disease that affects those souls, and the need to belong to the group because of the scientific and creative vacuum, and aspiration to leadership or the emirate in various ways, albeit at the expense of the elimination of society
Religious extremism is both a cause and a consequence; it will have serious effects on the human being in production weakness, and the weakness of his mental abilities in creativity, innovation and innovation, and will stick to old obsolete methods in the production process, with external and internal forces influential and supportive and funded directly and indirectly Directly in the movement of society towards religious extremism, to achieve political goals, through the deterioration of economic, cultural and civilizational conditions
Therefore, religious discourse and consensus among religious institutions must be controlled by a clear and moderate speech that rejects extremism and promotes tolerance, which is the basis of civil peace by building a state that cares about securing diversity through its administration by appropriate legislation and by strict courts and laws for those who promote extremism and violence; Creatively inform, and gain media professionals with a vital ability to counter extremism, with women involved in workshops and educational courses to combat religious extremism and violence

Might as well be on the same page, yes?” Liar’s face is flushed with anger; the muscles in his thin neck prominently bulging. “That diamond belongs to me. Hand it over.” “What are you doing? Put away the gun…” “No! This…,” Liar sweeps his one hand towards the horizon, “…is my place.  Mine!   I earned it! And you…you have no right to be here!” “Listen, Liar, we’re not the enemy. Whoever is looking for you with the aeroplane and the chopper….well, it isn’t us. In fact, we were worried about you and that’s why we followed you. We’re here to help, man!” Vetfaan’s voice is pleading as he takes a step closer to the distraught man. “Now, put down the gun and let’s chat about all this.” Liar hesitates, taken aback after clearly being convinced that the group  had hostile intentions. “I…I’m not sure I believe
