In the hands of the new government: the development state is the solution d. Ali Mohamed Osman Al-Iraqi
The President of the Republic has done well to dissolve the National Accord Government and to appoint a new leadership to manage the executive work at a critical and decisive time in the country's history. We call upon it to succeed and pay. People have been happy to move to a new generation in the Prime Minister's office.
While the advice of the new government is frequent in the details of the executive work, I am alerting to the overall vision that must govern the plans, policies and priorities. First, the vision begins by choosing the perspective and the paradigm on which the programs and interventions are based. In my opinion, it is important to agree on the application of a national model of the development state, a model that examines the experiences and global success stories of countries that traveled from East Asia to Latin America, a model that stems from the Sudanese reality with its complexities and specificities.
All the success stories in East Asia confirm that the state has an important role to play in economic activity, but the question arises about the size and extent of the role and the shape of relations between the government and the private sector. Johnson (1982) was the first to launch the term "capitalist development state" on Asian experiences, and defined it as a highly developed country with political and administrative arrangements focused on industrialization, competitive advantage and a highly qualified and efficient bureaucracy. Political parties and bureaucrats; political parties exist and compete in the elections, but the country is actually governed and managed by bureaucrats while the role of politicians is limited to consensus and legislation and to legitimize the actions and actions of the bureaucratic elite.
This concept was applied to Hong Kong and Singapore. At the end of the 20th century, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and Taiwan entered into the system. With the different systems and political philosophy of these models, from socialism to capitalism, The active role and clear intervention of the government in economic activity.
The development of the society is not only an economic concept, but also a comprehensive perspective and an approach in the political economy. The unification of the society and its agreement on reasonable limits of national objectives are the most important characteristics of the state. In this context, the behavior and commitment of the Koreans to grant the government part of their savings, . It is the development state that is responsible for initiating and monitoring the transformation of people's lives. Instead of being market friendly, the state is friendly to development. This development shifts attention from focusing on growth to focusing on human development.
1 / Government-oriented development.
2 / integration with the global market means no purpose in itself.
3 / Restriction of imports of domestically produced goods.
4 / export support.
5 / Directing the exchange rate to serve the export.
6 / Partnerships with foreign investments to ensure increased employment and capacity building of citizens.
7 / Agreements with foreign companies to obtain licenses and patent rights to guarantee the transfer of technology.
8. Compelling foreign companies to maintain a significant percentage of profits in order to finance national projects.
The main objective is to ensure that the sovereign government remains a national economy and guarantees the commitment of national and foreign capital to the implementation of the objectives set by the Government.
The industrial strategy is an important starting point in Asian models. South Korea has followed Japan's footsteps in developing industrial strategy, supporting countries for rising and serious companies, and punishing companies that are slow to achieve. The government has invested heavily in education and building human capital. Asian Renaissance Bodies and entities for follow-up and monitoring, so as not to lead to the diligence of the achievement of abuses and corruption has established a number of mechanisms for accountability, accountability and discipline.
Asia's experiences differed from South America. The first was characterized by serious governments, clear strategies and a specific system of relations between the parties, the bureaucracy and the army. In South America, these components were absent and when foreign investment flowed, the country was completely controlled. In some South American countries, there has been a so-called post-structural adjustment, a trend similar to the development model in Asia, emphasizing the need for strategic integration with the global economy. This integration achieves the goal of growth faster than disengagement from the world. Criticizes the rapid and unbridled openness to the world for the flow of capital and imported goods, and demands that the timing and rate of openness to global flows be examined to ensure that they serve the interests of the national economy and do not destroy it.
The South Consensus (the South American Stream and the State Development Models in Asia) emphasizes that the opening of the market for imported goods must be deliberate and gradual so as not to damage the national facilities. The South consensus models emphasize the need for national plans and policies to support and develop capacities. To address the problems of redistribution, the model is applied to inclusive and inclusive policies; this requires land policy reform, rural development and support for small and medium-sized enterprises, often the mechanism of financial policies and human capacity building.
Building on these global experiences and setting up a national model is one of the demands of the new government. Otherwise, all these resources will remain hostage to the immediate and immediate solutions. Let us open our minds and establish a vision of a college that excludes the Sudanese economy from the addiction of rent to the prospects of the 21st century.

Trusting Liar (#5) Leave a reply

Trusting Liar (#5) Leave a reply Gertruida is the first to recover.  “Klasie… ?” “Ag drop the pretence, Gertruida. You all call me ‘Liar’ behind my back, so why stop now? Might as well be on the same page, yes?” Liar’s face is flushed with anger; the muscles in his thin neck prominently bulging. “That diamond belongs to me. Hand it over.” “What are you doing? Put away the gun…” “No! This…,” Liar sweeps his one hand towards the horizon, “…is my place.  Mine!   I earned it! And you…you have no right to be here!” “Listen, Liar, we’re not the enemy. Whoever is looking for you with the aeroplane and the chopper….well, it isn’t us. In fact, we were worried about you and that’s why we followed you. We’re here to help, man!” Vetfaan’s voice is pleading as he takes a step closer to the distraught man. “Now, put down the gun and let’s chat about all this.” Liar hesitates, taken aback after clearly being convinced that the group  had hostile intentions. “I…I’m ...
