First, tourism is labor-intensive, its ability to generate jobs is large and growing, making it suitable for developing economies looking for sustainable solutions to unemployment.
Second: Tourism is characterized by its ability to move economic activities directly through the front and back and forward links and indirectly by the multiplier effect of spending the tourist multiplier effect. The lack of interest in the tourism sector and raising it to the refineries of the strategic sectors reflects the real crisis in the pattern of thinking. We are still dealing with the Sudanese economy and its challenges with the mentality of the sixties and seventies, so we see no specific sectors that do not exceed agriculture and some industrialization and we do not reject the rent station. Which makes us in the same station without interest in sectors with high capacity to achieve the launch as tourism
This is an invitation to put tourism as a strategic economic sector and to consider exploiting the available resources and employing them through the private sector, and targeting it as an industry and a major engine of growth in the country
