زار رئيس الوزراء السوداني الانتقالي عبد الله حمدوك العاصمة الامريكية واشنطن والتقى ببعض المسؤولين الامركان وهو يحمل هم جدي بتطبيع العلاقات السودانية الامريكية ،التقى وكيل وزارة الشؤون السياسية ديفيد هيل مع رئيس الوزراء السوداني عبد الله حمدوك . وقدّم وكيل الوزارة لرئيس الوزراء حمدوك تهنئته على قيادته للحكومة التي يقودها المدنيون في السودان، وأعرب عن دعم الولايات المتحدة الثابت للتحول الديمقراطي الجاري في السودان. كما أكّد وكيل الوزارة على الهدف المتمثل في استكمال تشكيل الحكومة الانتقالية من خلال تأليف المجلس التشريعي الانتقالي. وناقش وكيل الوزارة ورئيس الوزراء سبل تعزيز العلاقات الثنائية بين البلدين، فضلاً عن الجهود التعاونية التي يمكن أن تسرّع التقدم في تحقيق سلام نهائي بين الحكومة وجماعات المعارضة المسلحة السودانية. طلب وكيل الوزارة دعم رئيس الوزراء من أجل إحراز تقدّم في خريطة الطريق السياسية لجنوب السودان. ورفع اسم من قائمة الدول الراعية للارهاب فالذي تسرب من تلك اللقاءات قرب تبادل السفراء ومراجعة تقليص المستوى الدبلوماسي  بين البلدين. اما قضية  ازالة اسم السودان من قائمة الدول الراعية للارهاب نفهم ماتمخض عنها من تصريحات المسؤول الامريكي الرفيع.السيد كاميرون هدسون مساعد المبعوث الأميركي الخاص إلى السودان والمدير السابق للشؤون الأفريقية في مجلس الأمن القومي نشره موقع «معهد المجلس الأطلسي» بمناسبة بمناسبة زيارة عبد الله حمدوك إلى واشنطن..

** إن إزالة اسم السودان من قائمة الدول الراعية للإرهاب تحتاج إلى وقت.. وإن

الطريق أمام الخرطوم ما زال طويلاً.. وإنها تواجه مهاماً لا يمكن التغلب عليها

بسهولة ..

** أن إدارة الرئيس دونالد ترمب تخشى من عودة الجيش إلى السلطة مجدداً بمجرد أن

يتم رفع العقوبات الأميركية.. وأضاف أن بلاده أكثر ما تحتاجه الآن توضيحات حول

جهاز المخابرات السوداني بعد الإصلاحات التي جرت مؤخراً.. وما إذا كان يخضع

بالكامل إلى السلطة المدنية.. مشيراً إلى أن هناك عدداً من الإرهابيين الدوليين

وجماعات التمرد من دول الجوار يستخدمون الصحراء الممتدة من البحر الأحمر شرقاً

إلى ليبيا غرباً التي لا تخضع للسيطرة وأصبحت ملاذاً للاختباء ..

** وأوضح هدسون في مقاله أن المسؤولين الأميركيين يتجنبون التحدث بصورة علانية

في الأحكام الصادرة ضد الحكومة السودانية لدعمها التفجير الإرهابي الذي وقع على

سفينة «يو إس إس» كول في عدن عام 2000 وتفجيرات سفارتي واشنطن في

نيروبي الكينية ودار السلام التنزانية في عام 1998. وقال: «يتعين على حكومة

حمدوك قبل إزالة اسم بلاده من القائمة السوداء دفع أكثر من 300 مليون دولار

كتعويضات لضحايا الهجوم على السفينة وأكثر من ملياري دولار كتعويضات إلى أسر

ضحايا تفجيرات السفارتين»، مشيراً إلى أن هناك احتياجات كثيرة تتطلب الاستجابة

العاجلة لهذه التوقعات والآمال بأن يستطيع الحكم المدني أن ينهي بسرعة آثار 30

عاماً من الفساد والإهمال في ظل وجود قوى تتربص وتعيق طريق النجاح ..

** قال الخبير الأميركي في الشؤون الأفريقية والسودان إن الانتخابات الأميركية في

نوفمبر (تشرين الثاني) العام المقبل ستكون واحدة من العوامل في الداخل الأميركي

التي يصعب معها بقاء السودان ضمن جدول الأعمال.. في المقابل سيظل بند مكافحة

الإرهاب حاضراً ضمن الحملة الانتخابية للرئيس ترمب لإعادة ترشيحه إلى ولاية ثانية
