Uruguay took the lead in Group A of host Russia with a 3-0 win in Samarra on Monday in the third round of the 2018 World Cup finals.
The two teams entered the game as guarantors to qualify for the final price after winning the representatives of Saudi Arabia and Egypt in the first two rounds, with the preference of goals in favor of Russia. However, the South American team was led by three goals from Luis Suarez 10, Denise Cherchev (23 fouls) and Edenson Cavani (90).
Uruguay and Russia are waiting for the results of the third round of Group B later in the day to find out who their rivals are in the final price: Spain or Portugal (4 points each) or Iran (3)
