"Scientists find the material "delay aging
Date: 29 June 2018
Scientists at the University of Marshall in the United States have confirmed the role of the enzyme "sodium-potassium-phosphate adenosine triphosphate" in the cycle of active oxygen production (NAKL) and its association with aging.
According to researchers, this biochemical pathway of the adenosine triphosphate enzyme may give hope in the production of anti-aging drugs in the near future.
To demonstrate the role of this enzyme, scientists have conducted a trial of about a year in which laboratory mice have a high-fat diet (42 percent) and carbohydrates (42.7 percent).
The experiment made it possible to see the signs of aging clearly, because the cells of the mice made a large amount of active oxygen type "ROS", which contains an atom of oxygen and single or multiple symbiotic electrons, harming proteins, DNA and fat, increasing the amount of active oxygen increases the process of oxidation and death Cells.
The results showed that injecting mice with the NAKL inhibitor called pNaKtide slowed the cycle of active oxygen production in their cells and the most recent signs of aging.
If pNaKtide is not found to be harmful to the human body, scientists say, it will become the basis for anti-aging treatment.
